This is a pre duel poem said by Imam Ali (a.s.) as it’s known he is the bravest strongest hero in islam history and its a prideful filled with powerful meanings that you should know and understand … it goes like this : I’m the man who’s mother named Haidara **Imam Alis mom lady Fatima (A.S.) named him first when he was born (Asad) its Arabic word for lion so Imam ali used synonyms Asad=Haidara ( both mean lion ) of course afterwards prophet mohammed changed his Name to Ali peace be upon them both** Second verse A lion of deans and a vicious one **Imam ali used three synonyms of the lions name in arabic each one to portray a different image (Dhurgham ajam) it’s known that each lion protects one dean or has one dean imam ali used ajam plural word means Deans so he says in here that he’s protecting more than one dean (wa laith qaswara) a vicious lion again affirming the first part of this verse Third verse : I hit the non-believers (only enemies of islam) necks with my sword **Adherub bil sayfi riqab al kafara** Fourth : I kill seven or ten of them because they’re all people of Immorality & licentiousness He also says in another verses that were not mentioned I come to battle my enemies like a strong storm And I leave my sword in the bottom of their necks You hate to see me like you saw a lion in a jungle
