Great video and message. Next time you are at Aria, try for an upgrade to a Sky Villa at check in. On an off night, the upgrade cost is less than the price of this Sky Loft, which is a great deal as they normally start at $5,000. We got to tour a 2 story one the day we checked out of our 1 story Villa. They are very impressive. Ceiling is even higher, they have an elevator, etc. You also get unlimited use of their Rolls Royce to take you anywhere up to 4 miles from The Strip. Don't forget, anytime you are in these villa level suites to get a meal at MGM's Mansion, the butler team can get you access. It's cheaper than room service and far better.

@@PKPhoenix83 wow that’s a great tip! I tried booking one of those and they told me in advance it was like $7500! @dadblogCA I negotiate pretty much any hotel stay, rental car, etc. Keeps my skills sharp. The MGM hotels do tend to have to "approve" you for the villas and other cool stuff but a history with them, no outstanding markers, etc. means you should be good to go. Aria VIP told me I'm approved for everything and that any room I wanted was no issue as an example. Re the filming, there's a reason why I quickly do a tour and don't edit it. The quality of my stay is worth more than getting monetized. Not that I'm against some KZbin dollars. I'd guess if you spent 30 minutes filming some b roll shots, 15 minutes on actively being on camera, and another 15 storyboarding everything you'd be good to go and any drop in quality wouldn't be appreciable enough to where people care. The worst thing in life is to be so focused on something, the end result, you forget about the joy of being in the moment. You seem very grateful for everything, actually make the most out of these great opportunities to relax. My two cents.
@dadblogCA17 күн бұрын
@ I appreciate it bro, thank you. Also wanted to add - Other than sharing messages that God puts on my heart for these type of videos, I know it's costing me a ton of time to film and edit this stuff, and I don't expect any of it will lead to big monetization, but I've always really enjoyed filming experiences and living the experience out, whether its me alone, or me and my son...etc., so I guess that's kind of my angle with all of this. I really enjoy what you do with the videos, it just shows the room, but for me personally, I do have fun with the production although this one was just a little bit more than I expected, it's the first time I was in a room this huge, so for next time, I at least know what to expect.

Hi! I booked this for my parents 40th wedding anniversary during xmas time. I was hoping to host 10 people and my parents chihuahua. Would that be possible? Also, can we schedule the butler or do they randomly come in whenever they please?
@dadblogCAАй бұрын
Hey thanks for the comment! When you say "host" do you mean have a party? Or do you mean have 10 people sleep over? If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure you can have a party that size, I'm pretty sure it was in the "fine print" somewhere. I think you're supposed to have 2-4 max sleep in the room, but as you can see in this video, this room is MORE THAN ENOUGH to host 10 people so you'll be solid. If you're having 10 people sleep over, you could probably make them sleep in the shower or on the roof outside haha The butler was "on call", so anytime you call them for something, they came almost right away. I ordered room service in the morning and the night, as you can see in the video, it was EXTREMELY fast. Those were the only things I called them for, so I didn't test anything out, but if you're throwing a party, there's no doubt they'll be on call to serve drinks or bring you more if you're out
@PKPhoenix8327 күн бұрын
So I haven't stayed in a Cosmo Bungalow, only their Penthouse which didn't come with butler service. I have had butlers at Aria Sky Villas, Bellagio, and other places. Really it depends on the hotel and what their butler service provides. MGM Skylofts is different than Aria Sky Villas for instance. The true high end suites (Bungalow isn't one of them) has butler service more akin to what someone would experience at home. The butlers come in and out as they please in the living areas (living room, pantry, etc.). They don't go in bedrooms without knocking. Here they'll almost certainly announce themselves before coming into your suite. Keep that in mind when walking around naked. There is absolutely a form you have to sign re hosting events. They want you to use their hospitality services for food, drinks, though these hotels don't mind if you bring in a few items yourself. They don't want you using outside catering though. If you want the butler to be stationed in your suite serving guests you need to pay extra for that service. If you want bar service, you need to buy the full bottle of whatever you want served. So no butler coming around with a bar cart, making you one martini for $20 and leaving. They'll pack/unpack your clothing if you want. Make reservations for you, help you cut lines, etc. They can get you in to things that concierges can't and can even go and get you food or other items from outside the hotel. That's the biggest perk of having butlers. Re a dog, that may or may not be a problem. Check first and remember, these suites require a significantly higher damage deposit which they will keep if you bring a pet in if you aren't allowed to. You'll also potentially screw yourself on getting into any nice suite in the future as some of them you need to be approved for.

@@dadblogCA My wife and I had that Skyloft booked back in 2020 but we cancelled as we didn't want to go due to the COVID restrictions that were going on in Vegas at the time. Sadly, it was half off and we would have gotten a night in a Mansion out of the trip too as Skylofts was closed most weekdays and they bumped SL guests up to it. Ended up stopping by Vegas anyway and got the Delano Loft on our way back from my wife's birthday trip to Sedona. Your tour was very well done and I think it's wonderful you give credit to God for the positives in your life right now. Haven't been able to go out to Vegas this year due to frustrations in life and my wife being close to finishing up her MBA so it was nice to see someone having fun in a place we love. It's overrated. All hotels in Disney are overrated. You are paying a fortune for rooms that are average, at best. However, Pop Century is the best value, in my opinion.
@dadblogCA2 ай бұрын
@@rainbow20112011 I get what you’re saying, but I really enjoyed this property. I’ve always enjoyed the “Coney Island” / boardwalk vibe, and I like the idea of the boardwalk coming to life at night. It wasn’t the room I was paying for as much as the experience imho. And I should mention a couple of other things: When I say underrated, I guess I'm speaking in general, because I hear people say so many things about the big name "deluxe resorts", that the Boardwalk tends to get overlooked. The last couple trips I have gone to Disney, I stayed at Shades of Green, which is probably the best value you can get at a Disney resort hands down, $174 a night, no tax, and directly next to the Polynesian. On this trip, I stayed one night at the Boardwalk and 2 nights at Shades of Green, and it was mainly because I wanted to film a YT video of the Boardwalk. But other than that, I do mostly agree with what you're saying, this isn't the best "value", I just really enjoyed the property.

Hey, great video! This is definitely one of the best presented Chuck E Cheese videos I've seen. Which Chuck E Cheese location did you used to work at? I ask because I saw at 0:42 in this video, that that location had a game called Racing Jam (the big red machine on the right). It was a very advanced racing game from 1997 that had a huge 70" curved screen (the only game of its kind). I think it's a really good game but unfortunately it's next to extinct at this point. I own one of the few remaining machines. It came from Chuck E. Cheese in Arlington TX, very close to their headquarters. Anyway, do you happen to have more footage of your work at Chuck E. Cheese? I think it would be really neat to see, especially if Racing Jam is included, haha.

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! I worked at Chuck E Cheese in Patchogue NY, right off Sunrise Highway by the 112. Unfortunately, the "source" video footage I used here was so short, because my GM told me to put the camera away, and this was before it was "normal" to film, back in 2000 or 2001 I want to say. So I took short clips from a video that's probably 1 min to 2 minutes at tops, but I could email it to you if you want it for "memories" sake? I really wish I had filmed more back then TBH
