I agree that it’s good to read the Bible in your language is good and necessary, but it’s not enough, that’s why you ended up with thousands of denominations (and a lot of heresies) in Protestantism.
@nikostheater2 күн бұрын
The KJV’s issues are both the textus receptus reliance (that’s outdated) and the fact that for the Old Testament it uses the Masoreric text as its base, (a later textual tradition than the Septuagint) and that creates issues. Because at times, there are serious differences between the Septuagint and the Masoretic text that affect not only textual accuracy but also theology.

As a Greek, I can read (and we listen the original in our churches) , so there’s no need for a translation , (although translations into modern Greek exist), if I was a native English speaker, I would have preferred a more word accurate translation, with notes at the bottom explaining things. I recommend you to try the Orthodox Study Bible though, it’s what many English speaking Orthodox Christians use. Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷

I’m so spiritual blessed with this podcast. I’ve learned so much from both of you. Including Jimmy’s sermons. Now I started to set up an automatic payment from my bank on the same day my ACH drops to avoid any confusion. But “SATAN” hit me with a very unexpected situation which I had no other option but to delay the start of the donations. “People, “Satan” can read. Or read my mind. So I’m going to try this again, I’m not anything else. Much love and Blessings. May all the nations join in and support. GET The Behind Me Satan. Please continue so I can clearly continue to learn more about the Word of God. Love the Needham’s and the family and Stonegate. ❤❤❤❤❤let’s see if it works. I’ll find the banking info in the Bio.

Adam’s sin is the start of death on earth; so millions of years of evolution can’t happen. Plus, evolution requires new information to spontaneously appear from nothing; which has no evidence in science. The Big Bang insists that all the matter and all the energy of the universe existed on the head of a pin, moments before it exploded - that goes against all of Newton’s laws people !

Here is perhap's part of the answer to this puzzle. The cosmo's or we'll just say everything is billions of years old as science say's, however with one big exception. The outer layers of the planet earth, we'll say from apx 600 miles deep from the surface of the planet to the inner core of the planet was re-baptized by the miracoulous waters of Noah's Flood, In this worldview, all the young earth science get's satisified, while preserving the science of the originol earth as being billions of years old in harmony with the cosmological science.

I appreciate the video and the willingness to share about the beautiful Christian faith but the apocrypha/deutercanonical books were very much accepted by numerous Jews, they were referenced in the New Testament, and the early Church did accept them! All 73 books of the Bible were put together at the Council of Rome in 4th century. Let us not forget that the 7 books were removed from the Bible during the Protestant Reformation by Protestant scholars. These are all historical facts.
@crunchfishgames8245Ай бұрын
There are a lot of Christians that don't believe in the things in the bible, they're called protestants. Who protests the bible and what's in it? Try reading more of the bible, "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17). You don't just get into heaven just because. Christian denominations are abominations, especially in light of Christ’s pronouncement on one shepherd and one flock (John 10:15) and his prayer that his disciples remain one (John 17:22). It was only human pride and greed that brought about the religious divisions caused by protestants.

Why do people have trouble accepting that Jesus was from Palestine? This is much more strange to me than most other things.
@michaelspeyrer1264Ай бұрын
The answer is “we” didn’t cause from the 300’s till the Protestant revolt 1200 years later every Bible in Western Europe had 73 books.

@@clearlypodcast I don‘t know man. It‘s just that you come across like a act. Maybe just have more courage to be yourself. If your in a bad mood, be in a bad mood. If you‘re excited, be excited. If you’re stuck in a sentence, be stuck. More natural expression and mimics. What I saw was something like a TV presenter would probably learn in training or something you‘d learn in a rhetorik class or so. You know what I mean. The more you are yourself, the more success you‘ll have. I know it‘s scary but trust me on this one. It‘ll be huge. Because your looks are top notch man. Now with all that said, I could be completely wrong and it‘s just who you are and the problem lies in me somewhere.

Thank you so so much for this talk! I’ve always felt shame that love for people (only) isn’t my drive for evangelism. I just want God to get the honor and focus that He deserves. But I have never dared to talked about it! I know my love for people needs to grow, and Jesus is teaching me that of course. But that alone isn’t, as you say, a motivator enough.

I don't sing about pudding or junk food and processed food. I used to be fat diabetic for over a decade. Thrn over a year ago i became a carnivore. This means i cut processed foods sugar grains and veggies out. I eat animal fats and protein. Usually a couple eggs some bacon a burger or steak later in the day. It's not as expensive as some people feel. I don't get cravings anymore or want junk food. My energy is good i have been losing weight and my body is healing from diabetes. I never could eat a lot. I have been carnivore for a year and only eat 1or 2 meals a day. Only eating fats and protein my satiety hormone gets triggered then i don't eat till much later in thr day. The reason you want to eat more is you are not giving your hormones what it needs. The rest of the day and night i do intermittent fasting. With fasting the body organs get rest and it helps regulate your body. One fasting and a few meals a only eat till full then don't eat for quite a long time again. I don't like gluttony. Sadly with a diet of junk food we overeat and stuff ourselves with more than needed.to me carnivore food's eggs bacon meat burgers and a little seafood and cheese is all u ever need and a little coffee. I dont need much and it is a blessing from God. Peace health and happiness to you and everyone.

Thanks for this podcast. it was something I kinda needed to hear... But its been really difficult these days.. I struggle with discouragement and disappointment, some days it feels like nothing i do ever makes sense, godly desires and godly motivation gets met with failure, to the point where i don't know what/how to move forward, in my job, personal life, ministry, family, etc. when i loose my mind, i just look toward Christ and work and do anything in my hands with the utmost effort that is worthy of doing things as unto Christ. But honestly.. In the dumps and when the evidence of all the blessings and good things in life feel dim.. and its so easy to go nihilistic and say, " yes the lord is coming back immediately, so its okay to not do anything.. Any effort is wasted effort.. " Do you have any tips/approaches/perspectives that rekindle that evidence when all you want to do is lay under the tree like Elijah did and tell god i just want to die and reading the word really feels like eating cardboard and watching paint dry. This is the first video ive watch of you guys, so i am going through the other videos in hopes that you already covered it!

Prayed for you just now. I would work on having ongoing rhythms of reminders of God's goodness. So many ways to do this: -through scripture -through writing down gifts from the past week -through talking with those close to you There is no permanent fix this side of eternity for our forgetfulness other than going back time and time again to remind ourselves.
