Hello. I have the same microwave which I bought recently. Whenevet I put the crusty plate on high rack. It touches the inner area of oven causing a damange and sometimes spark. Does this happen to you too?

Mam, I too have the Samsung oven just bought 2 months before...but dont know why...the crusty plate slides when kept over the high or low rack grill...and it keeps rubbing to the ceramic body... Due to which the ceramic coating got many scratches... Is it allowed to use the crusty plate over the Grill racks...or have to use the grills over the crusty plate?

For this recipe, combi mode of microwave & grill is used. Microwave settings will always be in terms of watts, not temperature. And for grill, only time has to be set. Hope this helps.

I used combi mode bt what the heck.. they aren't fries. Damn it, though I suspected that it wasn't proper way.

It may be because of potatoes being over boiled before baking. Quality of fries also depend on type of potatoes.

Should v add some water to sugar bcoz wn u tried for dry paan sugar did not melt but got crystals

Goal here is to caramelize sugar, for which sugar has to be heated without water. If you add water, it will not caramelize. Initially sugar crystals will form when you add milk, but it will be dissolved within few minutes. So not to worry.
