I got that Jefferson county tag today!!! Let’s go!
@aaronliebe4303 Жыл бұрын
Looks a lot like the Menan area to me, I just picked up hunting whitetails in SE Idaho last year after getting sick and tired of battling it out year after year over muleys on the general tag, feel good about what I learned about hunting whitetails last season, feel even better about how this year will play out knowing what I know from last year, also with an extra doe tag in my pocket, looks like you had a good hunt and good luck this year.

Turned out that my dad had not shot his gun with his reading glasses on we did a eye test looking though his scope and at 100 yards at 9 power he could not make out the letters at all. He needs to use his contacts apparently. Thanks for watching

Lol. Quit crying around if you had atv you would be do the same thing. Haaaaaa rookie. Haaaa
@21gobigorgohome3 жыл бұрын
Funny thing is that I do have ATV in fact I have a Can Am with snow tracks, but we care very much about out natural resources and preserving them. "Rookies" are the new generation that don't care enough to follow the rules, that are there to protect our heritage.
@garenknapp93583 жыл бұрын
It is really sad that people care more about finding antlers than the habitat and wildlife that support the opportunity to do so. At some point, everyone is going to realize that it has been us (people) all along that are ruining the wild we all love. If we want to preserve hunting, shed hunting, fishing, and so on; we've got to adjust our attitudes and do what is best for our wildlife.

A shed season is not going to prevent people from driving up into those hills as the elk are dropping. It’s already illegal and they do it anyways. It will only affect those of us who play by the rules, and we will be screwed. Be careful what you wish for...
@knapptrick39593 жыл бұрын
I don't wish for it by an means. Its really up to the sportsman to help enforce the laws. You might be right it might only affect the honest ones. The animals are so vulnerable at that time, hiking in winter range is one thing, driving a motorized vehicle is hard on them especially when almost everyone is doing it and repeatedly pushing the animals. Bottom line is something needs to be done.
@idahooutdoors45113 жыл бұрын
@@knapptrick3959 it’s already illegal to do what you’re talking about. They just need to enforce the existing laws. I wish they would because I get hosed every single spring by those guys.
@knapptrick39593 жыл бұрын
@@idahooutdoors4511 I know it is but there is no way any of the government agencies can enforce it. I was thinking maybe more of a blanket closer would make it easier to enforce.

The big massive ones are wherever you aren't shooting two year olds. Give that deer two more years and he's got the genetics to be something

Ya we have plenty of the big ones on camera just didn't see them much this year. Didn't get a elk this year so needed some meat. Left plenty of there to grow up. Thanks for the comment

Great video. The part when Trigger was bringing a goose back at 9:30 into the video and the goose came back to life behind the guy whose gun kept jamming was priceless. I was laughing so hard I almost pissed my pants. Not that anything like that has ever happened to me. Terrific video. Keep them coming. You need to highlight that part at 9:30 into the video.
