@@19eightyforeisnow not clean it up. Just fix the overall volume and put a compressor /limiter to just bring out what has been lost over time . I have a ton of tapes from my old punk bands, and it really pays off to just bring up the volume and compress. also help the highs because that's what takes the biggest hit from age , regarding tapes. I can tell you that tape sounded a lot brighter when they first put it to cassette.

yeah! the first cut (everything is) and sixth cut (here we are) are available on an 10” EP called Everything Is which rules, but to my knowledge the rest of these recordings don’t circulate outside of this tape. April 8th was later re-recorded for their first album On Avery Island and it rules - it’s not totally like this but it’s still there, just with a lot more horns and fuzz
