I HAD two big red hardy hibiscus but this year they ended up with mealy bugs and almost killed both plants . I used Bio synthetic fertilizer and bug preventative and to save I used Leam oil. It has been a fight . Should I continue to fight or start o er next spring .

for me it is the 3 baseball complex the isd put behind my property (residential). The giant lights, the kids and parents screaming bloody murder, and their music. but the wind comes straight across that field and goes around both sides of my house. I am in zone 8b texas, but it gets fried by the western setting sun. I don't think arbor vitaes can take the heat here. Any ideas? tia

Why you had to do that? I just let them in the ground and they came back every year. My area was not only below freezing but also snowing, freezing rain. Just make sure the water was not setting and drown your bulbs.
