I don't like it when tutors post a picture only to teach something different. If a beginner runs into this video and follows this pattern that person will definitely spoil a customer's dress. Your choice of fabric for this class was bad

The process remains the same I doubt if a beginner will make a mistake with the same procedure. The only difference there is the choice of fabric, which I stated that I used ankara prints to sew at 11:19 that its not a dropping material ( crepe, duches). So what i sew or taught was whats in the picture but used a different fabric for it.

It will be cut from the back chest line down, add 1.5 for your zip allowance
