Rural areas have always been an unsolved issue of Niantic's. I get your frustration totally. I don't see how the Gigantamax function is viable when so many rural players have no way of completing a battle.

I agree! But it is their first round of them, so I'm sure we'll see some good ones in the future. A lot of them in this round, though, are meta relevant, just uninteresting.

Thanks for the run down! Do you think it's worth it to grind the Galar starters on Dmax for their inevitable GMax weekend? This entire season has been about Galar, I can't imagine they push this new feature without ending the season with them.

I'm not sure if they're going to release GMax Galar starters anytime soon, but either way I wouldn't say it's worth it to hunt down the DMax (except to have one for the Pokedex) since the GMax exists and will come out at some point! Just my two cents. Also, they can't be shiny, which leads me to believe the GMax won't be released anytime soon.

@@Sanchezx22 Absolutely! There’s a lot of great “vintage” Pokémon coming back, and with exclusive moves from past community days you may have missed. Definitely worth it for a returning player! You’ll find more surprises than most veterans.

palkia is top tier in master league. pvpoke has it at rank 2. dragonite and gyrados seem like the only mighty pokemon that will be really worth it. maybe pidgeot if someone has the xl candies for ultra league
