Pearl Jam blew the roof off of Pauley Pavilion at the tribute concert for The Who, with Eddie’s scream at the end serving as the final blow. PJ was the final tribute band to play before The Who took the stage and The Who were probably thinking, damn, we better bring it tonight after that freaking performance.

My favorite Springsteen song by far & I would never have thought Eddie's voice would suit this song so well. I just wish he hadn't sped up the music. It loses some of the melancholy, underlying sadness of Bruce's version.

The slower version of the 90s had that signature Pearl Jam Groove to it, the fast version is great, don’t get me wrong but……….there’s something about the slower version!
