I am using free version why we cannot add constraints to basic smr joints? I am for fun user and the tool is really good for me. But when i use classical tween it rotates from different direction.Sometimes actually form longer path.(like clock wise is shorter but it rotates counter clock wise) I am from Turkey and i cannot buy something 60usd only for fun. Pls tell me that i can limit the normal magnet joints like 90 degree.

To choose the rotation direction, click on the tween and then in the Properties panel choose 'Clockwise' or 'Counter clockwise' from the 'Rotate' drop-down instead of 'Auto'.

What i actually mean . When there is no need for the rotation hands and feets are rotating .What needed is like 15 degree rotation.Making it clock wise or counter still gives me full rotation which i dont want. Thank you so much for quick response btw.

Set the rotation value to 0. Are you using Layer Parenting? If so, don't. It's full of bugs.

There must me a link in the message, which you should follow. The only thing that you can try to fix this is to reset Windows as described at the link: flash-powertools.com/known-issues/#windows-system-initialization-error

Here is something you can try before resetting Windows: Check to see if you have WMIC installed on your computer. If not, you can add it very easily as shown here: techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windows-itpro-blog/how-to-install-wmic-feature-on-demand-on-windows-11/4189530 After adding it, restart your laptop and try opening SMR Helpers again.

How can I scale the upper arm and have the lower arm scale along with it? I know how to do that without a smart rig, but with a smart rig it is no longer linked in the way you can normally scale it using the transform tool

Sir, why does sometimes object get inverted or some kind of gliches while animating, for example suppose I animate a lifting up of hand and changing it's palm pose, after applying classic tween the hands get inverted as it appears that someone have twisted the chars hand, especially when I open the file somedays later , can you please guide. I have seen this video earlier and helped me animating greatly, thank you Sir❤

Are you using Layer Parenting? If so, and you see this problem appear after closing and reopening the FLA file, then you are experiencing a Layer Parenting bug: helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/fixed-issues.html - look at Animate 2022 (version 22.0.7) "Child object gets rotated on reopening the file if the parent object was rotated before parenting." If it's something else, please, record a video demonstrating the problem.

Unfortunately, you can't mask a mask on the same timeline. You will need to mask the face outside of the head/face symbol.

Hi Elena, Yes, I have been thinking that I should do this. For now, have look at this video about duplication. It shows some dynamic shadows: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pF68f6KNeZeCjJIsi=8V_etXok_3D2mVAp&t=202 They consist of duplicated SMR elements, which are hard-welded, tinted and masked. The mask is also part of the rig and only reveals parts of the tinted duplicate. Can you provide more details about your second question? If you like, send us an email with more information.

When you say 'a drawing on a character's shirt' do you mean 'pattern' - like some small flowers or checks, or paisley?

For this kind of pattern, it will be best to mask the pattern internally inside the shirt/torso symbol. Then, you can have a torso duplicate with a color effect applied to it, as shown in that video, to get a nicely colored warm of cool shadow, controlled by an external mask. In v.7 Kineflex will let you animate those masks and masked duplicates, while the layers are locked, so that you can see what you are doing. Good luck with your projects!

Not in v.7. If you have two versions of Flash/Animate installed on your computer, you can have v.6 Premium running on one of them and v.7 Free on the other. You can also install v.7 to test, then remove it and install v.6 again to use your Premium.

I was breaking my head on how to simulate this in Animate, and bum: Amazing version 7! I have a couple of questions: I ve try to move a group with the controller, but if its inside a mask, mask doesnt move? would be great to see how the demo in the tools was made with the moving mask. And the use of the Transposer panel, I havent understood how to use it propertly yet. Would be a great video.

Braces are for posing. You can animate the elements beyond the effectors along a path and then IK Clean Up the chains.
