I remember watching the Harrison Smith ejection. It seems silly every time I re-watch it. An official shouldn’t be able to shove a grown man around, without a tiny bit of pushback, and a player should be able to separate himself from the aggressive official by just putting his hands out. He clearly didn’t “throw him.” Sometimes I think the referees believe they’re the most important players in the NFL.
