Have a lovely weekend, young lady. ❤xx

Thanks for your lovely comments Annie! The gorgeous thing that happened just before we did the podcast is that I took Gayann into the shop and one of my staff almost lost it when she saw Gayann - she was so excited to meet her! It was a total fangirl moment! Debx

Ha! Thanks for sharing , Deb.That's funny..like the Queen arriving in your store, eh? See? Gayann must get that all the time and not realise. Even though I admire your collective verve, knowledge and vision, I won't get nervous if I meet any of you (well maybe Tash ;)...just kidding, Tash). I will just ask you to empty the bin, put the kettle on and make me a cuppa. Have a lovely week, all you famous people. xx

I loved this!! Perfect thing to watch on a sunny Sunday morning whilst I madly knit away on my mini mock knit tank for Kath's KAL. Did I leave myself only two weeks to get it done? Yes 😅 Will I be watching more of your podcasts whilst I try to smash it out? Also yes 😂

Thanks Heaps! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and the podcast was motivating for you. You are doing waaay better than I am on my tank top. I was meant to have 22 stitches in my gauge but I ended up with 28! I need to rip out and re start!!!😱it will be fine! I love the material and colour so knitting it the second time will be a joy!😂

Nice to get to know where Kath got the inspiration for her sock patterns and I absolutely love the names 🥰 I am waiting to see Adelaide socks! Regarding the unspun yarn (I use Nutiden) it’s not heavy at all, it’s extremely light and airy but very warm and if used with a mohair it takes very little yarn. I used my Nutiden jumpers quite a lot the past winter as it was quite a cold one in Melbourne and in Ballarat especially
@FibrematesАй бұрын
This is great feedback! I have Manchelopis by Wool Dreamers which is an unspun yarn which comes in a plate like Nutiden but there are double strands in the plate. I’m so itching to cast on a sweater in it! I wanted to try the Manchelopis first because it is a bit more affordable and was easier for me acquire. I’ll keep you posted if I decide to cast on! I may just need to turn on the air con!😂

What a wonderful trip. I’d love to go back to Japan and visit all of these yarn shops ~ so many thanks for doing all the hard work. I’ve also had some difficulty with google maps in areas with lots of high rise buildings it real seems to muck up its ability to accurately find where you are.
