@@sufyanpatel9706 yeah it's a shame the RAM was such a huge pitfall on the 3 XL. It's barely usable unless you root it and add zRAM.

@@landen2482 mate, easily I'd take the S20 FE. Better camera, more recent chip, 120Hz screen, bigger battery. The 3XL is two years older and since I reviewed it mine hasn't been as smooth as it was last year.

Yeah I miss some parts of my Pixel 3 XL, especially the design. Such a clean phone and the camera was indeed fantastic, especially with a longer exposure!

Had limited time on Pixel Experience 13 with the S9 but on A12 it ran nicely, I get the network issues though, had a few on my Pixel 3.

@@mformetro did you get any network issues with Elixir? Tried out lineage and PE Plus both A12 and A13 and the same network issues occur. I get severe fluctuations just trying to get a signal. Any ideas? Otherwise I'm flashing the stock firmware... sad because I really love pixel experience.

@@sb17146 I never had any issues on Elixir but in your case it sounds like it might be a network issue on the phone itself, if it's happening on different ROMs 🤷‍♂️.

My phone has slowed down a bit since my review and I'd really look into finding a workaround for the RAM issues, but otherwise I'd say it's still worth it, fixing mine as we speak ✌️

They don't make it for Snapdragon cause the bootloaders are usually way harder to unlock :/ sorry bud.

I think I had updated my android to 12 in apr 2022 it's been one year Android official stock Android 12 is solid and almost optimised for pixel 3xl no any major issues I have noticed yet

Honestly I was facing the same problem cause I haven't found one GCam port with half decent performance. The closest thing you'll get on A13 is Noble Rom but the camera HDR doesn't work properly any of the times I've tried using it.

@@mformetro ok...I was trying to check if there were any new rom available with original Samsung camera features but seems that there is not such improvement. So I will just continue to use custom rom based on one ui. Actually I have 2.5 and I look for a new compatible one

@@devm585 yeah I'd stick with that, I think stock roms on the S9 make more sense these days just cause of how many workarounds you gotta use to get the Samsung features back (Wearable apks, etc.)

​@@kirigayakazuto9290Hey, sorry for the late response. Yeah I used it on Android 12 for a few weeks but moved to Android 13 Custom ROMs, and I definitely prefer those but they do eat through RAM like there's no tomorrow!

Yeah it's a great device, especially pre-owned it's nice value too!

@@mformetro Only down side for me is, no wireless charging, I forgot to check before I bought it. The battery, which started our as decent but not spectacular, has got even better the more the device has got familiar with my usage.

Yeah the iPhones from what I've heard are so much better on literally half the ram, it's kinda sad... That being said I've recently flashed a ZRam magisk module on this phone to add another 6GB of memory and it's working! Not amazing but a lot better than before.

Yeah, the white one was £13.50, still kinda amazed it even works. Still, wouldn't recommend paying that unless you're prepared for issues (black phone developed a screen issue and it's cracked as well hence the price).
