Sheet Music Boss just made a new tutorial couple days ago! I think this one is more accurate but less playable while SMB's new tutorial feels much different.

Your left hand notes are consistently incorrect, mainly the song’s bass line goes up 3 notes, but you have it written as going down 3. For example, at 0:33 you have the bass written as G - A - Gb, when the actually song is simply A - A - B. I presume this mistake is because the chords do in fact descend, but the bass is ascending. Listen to the song again.

The bass goes A G Gb and G A B consecutively, for this to be semi-playable I omitted the ascending line in the bass since the melodic line already ascends. I can assure you I have not written any incorrect pitches, I would have known. I'm not sure where you see any Ab written, you must've confused your notes

@SimonPegasus Sorry, I simply miswrote Gb as Ab. That aside, what I said still holds: the right hand chords in the piano/accordion of the original song are in fact A - G - Gb (and therefore your notes are "correct"), but the left hand piano notes and the bass of the original song are A - A - B and it just sounds strange that the lowest notes in your rendition are descending as well. Even in parts where the melody isn't ascending (e.g. 0:28) the bass notes are still incorrectly descending. It just sounds wrong, even if the notes are technically "correct" in that they're mirroring correct notes in higher registers. Also, your sheet on MuseScore is in 9/8, which I disagree with. It's technically not incorrect per se, but there's clearly three beats a measure in the original song such that it doesn't feel like 9/8 at all and rather 3/4 with swing. Plus, it's much cleaner when written that way.

@sans5955 I mean you're right about the A A B but in the end it was mostly just my stylistic interpretation, I chose to omit some of those lines because if I had added everything that can be heard, it would be 100% unplayable rather than like 30% unplayable. But anyways I didn't really try that hard, it took me like an hr to write and it was mostly for people to use as a template to make their own variations on the song if ya get what I mean also I abused the hell out of my perfect pitch anyways and didn't put much thought into it lul Last thing, if you wanna rewrite it and upload it to muse I'll link it in the description

The echoing sounds in the background of the beginning and end match the song’s feel perfectly and it translates to the piano note for note while still sounding amazing and keeping the vibe the same. I’m using this to learn it 😉

Not a fan of the amount of trills, makes some of these parts borderline impossible to play an otherwise pretty simple and easy song. I will keep trying to play it without the excessive amount of trills though.
