Hello good morning, I hope you are very well, excellent content on your KZbin channel, I have a question for you, I currently have my Dot number active, which will begin to operate intrastately in Texas, but my question is the following if I request the MC number I know that it takes approximately 20 to 25 to activate after sending the insurance policy, for approval, could I work locally while my authorization to leave interstate arrives since I would have my DOT active, or by making the report and requesting interstate operations would I no longer be able to work locally?

I understand were you coming from but running your Own authority is better these companies charging between 18-25% of your gross and charging 200-300 a week to rent out van or flatbed if you don’t have on. So 300x4 is 1200 just for trailer rental not including the percentage and fuel . You pay way more leasing then you own authority. Keep in mind you getting all your money no overhead. Free game

The whole process reminds me of trying to buy your first car. They said you need credit to get credit. I said how's that done? They said I don't know. The real answers are getting ripped off at buy here pay here places with special financing. Special financing means we are going to treat you badly

If leasing on to another’s authority how do you write off your insurance cost as an owner operator. Should they be transparent and show you the insurance bill.
