1. This recipe is a hit! Almonds lasted less time than it took to prepare them 2. No need for the parchment paper, just plain baking tray slightly oiled.

My mother never flattened her fritters. I don’t think I’ll flatten mine either. I have to use my canned corn from my pantry that I canned.

My wife cooked these the other night and we almost had a disaster! One thing was the oil was too much and too hot! She had a fritter explode and oil went everywhere. She also got a number of hot oil burns on her face. No major burns but she looked like she had measles! I believe my grandma used to boil the corn first. Idk. Shes been gone about 20 years. But I do love these things!

Is that the complete recipe because I thought that you baked them after you coated them? Also wasn't that cayenne pepper instead of the pepper flakes cuz I didn't see any flakes? Anyway I'm going to watch a few more videos by other ppl. To see if yours compares to theirs. Thanks you & good luck.

Baking them is in order to make them crispier. Personal choice. I use the big box of Cheese-Its. I also use a gallon jar to tumble them in, as opposed to the zip lock bag.
