Hey Tim, hoping you can provide some guidance. The auger for my Traeger 780 pro has an issue. The spiral part of the auger is not turning. I looked all over and no one seems to have content for the specific type of auger in this model. Would it be possible for me to reach out to you? Thank you

Excellent video, my friend. I'm Brazilian, and I've used the Firetong exhaust on my MT07, exceptional quality and incredible sound. I'm planning to buy a Trident 660, and this will certainly be my choice for a new exhaust system. Thanks for the video!

Nice find. Grab yourself some triumph engine covers and frame protectors on this. Delete the rear pillions from Brogue with their metal plates, add their radiator side protector plates, and the rear gauge fill in piece.

Great video. Saving this to my trident list. Thanks a bunch for putting this together. This might be my exhaust option when i get there in the summer fo 2025. I know it hasn't been long, but are you still happy with the exhaust?

My 2023 XC has started hissing after a ride. Opening the stock cap relieves the pressure but residual engine heat seems to make the process repeat. Think I will get a NB gas cap. Thanks!

The sound was very nice. But the best motorcycle exhaust in Brazil in terms of performance and sound are those from the brand "Jeskap".

I bought a used trident with a Leo Vince exhaust on it and yours sounds and looks better lol. Just wondering, how did you blackout the (triumph calls them the “control plates”) but they hold the foot rests? Anyway, good looking exhaust. Update: never mind you have a video on it lol. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it cost to ceramic coat them? Anyway thanks for the videos.

I think this looks better than the LV IMO. Easy to say when you have LV already installed! I coated all the parts for around $200 locally.

@@tims-garage sorry, I read your comment and I just wanna make sure you know that I was saying yours sounds and looks better. As I’m not really a fan of how the Leo Vince sounds and it looks OK but I like the molded look better. I forgot the “S” on “yours”. Also, did you get a tune? The guy who had mine beforehand didn’t have a tune and he said I didn’t need one… I’m definitely going to get one. I’m just wondering if it’s going to damage the engine if I don’t have a tune until I can afford it….?

This video did not show anything on how to take the wheel off and put it back on and realign the rear wheel Right to left to set chain tention. You showed a bald tire then 10 minutes later showed a new tire. I will make a video on the right way to completely disassemble and reassemble the rear tire and wheel, OH and don't forget to put new tubes in every time you change your tires.

Great video - thanks for that. I was struggling to free the little barrel-shaped plunge-pin in the clutch lever, and wasn't sure if the OEM Triumph lever's bush was glued-in or not. Tuen out I just needed to hit it harder. ... On a side note, I see you struggled with the clutch plunge-pin's protective rubber/dust-boot which is connected to the master-cylinder. The trick to getting that back in place, shielding the pin and locating the boot around the natural 'neck' of the pin, is to do that first i.e. before you slot of barrel into the lever. Line the pin up against the hole and spin it to get into the centre of the hole (which will keep moving around), and then I used long nose pliers to gently encourage the rubber to the "neck' of the plunger.

Didn't know PD made a phone mount for bikes. I usually only look at their stuff for my photography needs, good to know they do more than that though! Is there any reason why you went with this over the quad lock wireless charger? (the new one) with the smart power harness that detects when the bike is running as to not drain the battery when it's off.

I love the design. Its much sleeker and simpler to use than QL IMO. PD also makes the smart charger, but it wasnt available when I ordered. I may upgrade at some point.

That's a pretty good idea in theory but personally I wouldn't put it on my Thruxton. I wouldn't want to fiddle with the seat at the parking lot. Also, there's always some drunken wiseguy who thinks it's a fantastic idea to use the helmet as a toilet. Atleast the helmet hangs at the right height for peeing. I use Helmetlok. The downside of the Helmetlok is that you have to carry it in your pocket. Didn't want to sound too negative. Just a safety aspect.
@tims-garage
@tims-garage 3 ай бұрын
Fari assessment, but I'll ask, where do you live that a wiseguy would do that?! No one would dare try to use my helmet as a toilet in Texas! Haha. I also have a Helmet Lock, but I keep it under my seat in that little compartment, so either way, I'm taking the seat off to lock up my helmet.

@@tims-garage I live in Finland. Everyone thinks Finland is this small european country between Sweden and Russia and finns are little bit quiet, shy, polite and have good manners. Unfortunately that's not the full truth. I've been riding motorcycles for 20 years and my bike has been sabotaged three times and twice I've caught people sitting on my bike, like we say "cold test riding" the bike. I've had some negative experiences. 15 years ago someone slashed my Kawasaki Mean Streak's Danny Gray "flame" seat. My Thunderbird Storm was scratched. Last year I went to the movies and I parked my Thruxton R in front the movie theatre. There's a restaurant and a bar across the street. When I came back around 10.00 PM the round bar end mirrors were broken (Triumph OEM aftermarket peep mirrors, 80 GBP each). Probably some wiseguy on his way to the bar and desperately trying to impress his friends. I don't trust people all that much anymore. Especially during the weekends. Drugs and alcohol makes people do stupid things. Most of the time I don't leave my helmet behind. Anywhere I go I take the helmet with me. Movies, restaurants and so on. But Helmetlok is a nice addition and I use it every now and then. During the daytime mostly. I've never been to United States or Texas. I hope people there respect other people's bikes more. Or is it the gun laws? F around and get shot. Haha! In Finland all I'm allowed to carry is my jab, cross, hook and uppercut.
