Exactly! Despite the complexity and confusion of the sci-fi elements, the story does have a hopeful and somewhat happy ending. The symbolic reunion of Koyomi and Shiori suggests that their love transcends the boundaries of parallel worlds and time. It highlights the enduring nature of their bond, even if they don't remember their past interactions. The key takeaway is that their connection is so strong that it persists across different realities, offering a sense of hope and continuity. So, while the plot may be intricate, the underlying message about the power of love and connection shines through..... its a story for love, so its legal to bend science a little

I understand you buddy , u might go heywire after reading my reply ... but take it like a story ,,this movie was a try to mix and split a single story in 2 perspective . Best example of this type of stories is Amish books like RAM, SITA, RAVAN, LANKA if you would read these its like same story but from different perspective (person's view point)

5:40, its because that accident was fated uf they were together right?? Same stuff again. Really helpful video of yours bro, thanks.
@TheUncagedКүн бұрын
Yes, you are correct. The accident was indeed fated if Koyomi and Shiori were together. This recurring fate is a central theme in the story, highlighting how certain events are destined to happen in every parallel world they inhabit. Despite their efforts to change their circumstances, the accident and Shiori's tragic fate seem unavoidable

I actually seem to have lotsa questions. About @ 4:58, so this is the new world. And Shiori does exist here. And he does meet her after waking up in the capsule. The only difference, they wont form a bond and wont grow to know each other since hell be living with mom, unlike last time, when he was with dad. Thats it right? About the world 1? Basically, theyve met but wont share connection. And since memory couldnt be retained from last time, this was like a restart. One more thing. In world 0, both are brain dead (shiori really dead, and He is brain dead) and sorry if it may seem am asking the same thing, since their consciousness werent in the world 0 anymore, is it in world 1 due to time shift? Tks for reading, pls reply.

Yes, you're on the right track. In the new world (World 1), Shiori does exist, and Koyomi meets her after waking up in the capsule. However, the circumstances are different this time. Since Koyomi is living with his mom instead of his dad, their paths don't cross in the same way, and they don't form the same bond or grow to know each other as they did before. Essentially, it's like a restart where they meet but don't share the same connection due to the different living arrangements and lack of retained memories from the previous world. No worries, I'm here to help clarify things for you! World 0 and Consciousness In World 0, Shiori is indeed dead, and Koyomi is brain dead. Their consciousnesses are not present in this world anymore. When Koyomi time-shifts, he essentially moves to a new world (World 1) where he has never met Shiori. This shift means that their previous memories and connections are not retained, making it a fresh start for Koyomi. World 1 and Their Relationship In World 1, Koyomi wakes up in the capsule and meets Shiori. However, because he is now living with his mom instead of his dad, their paths don't cross in the same way. They meet, but they don't form the same bond or grow to know each other as they did in the previous world. This world acts as a restart, where they have met but won't share the same connection due to the different circumstances and lack of retained memories from World 0. Symbolic Reunion The scene where they appear to meet again and seem like they will live together is more symbolic. It represents the idea that their love and connection can transcend different realities, even if they don't remember their past interactions. This symbolic reunion highlights the enduring nature of their bond across parallel worlds

Bro sorry, one more thing. 4:28 ye seen when it made it in the movie, i couldnt het it bro. Why do they appear to meet again and seem like they will live together? Bro pls write back i really must know. I dont like sci fi

Meeting Again and Living Together In the ending of "To Me, The One Who Loved You", Koyomi time-shifts to a different world where he has never met Shiori. Despite this, the film suggests that their bond transcends parallel worlds. When Koyomi, in his old age, uses time-shifting to reunite with Shiori's ghost, it symbolizes their eternal connection. This reunion implies that their love is so strong that it can bring them together even in different realities. The scene where they appear to meet again and seem like they will live together is more symbolic than literal. It represents the idea that their love endures beyond the constraints of time and space. The Pigeon Memory In one parallel world, Shiori shares a memory about a pigeon with Koyomi. When Koyomi returns to World 0, Shiori remembers this pigeon memory, even though it happened in a different world. This suggests that some memories and emotions can cross the boundaries of parallel worlds, highlighting the deep connection between them

Bro, one requestion please. So he time shifted and forgot his memories. And since he time shifted, he would go to a time or a world (which one is it?) where he has never met and will never meet her, becuz their fate as he learnt from many parallel shifts is that Shiori always ends up a ghost. Thats my Question, am i correct? One more pls. Tell me about that one parallel world in which he went to where shiori tells him about the pigeon and then when he cams back to world 0, she rememebeds the memories of that pigeon from that prarallel world.
@TheUncagedКүн бұрын
Time Shifting and Memory Loss Yes, you are correct. When Koyomi time-shifted, he ended up in a world where he had never met Shiori and would never meet her. This is because, in all the parallel worlds he explored, Shiori's fate was to become a ghost. By time-shifting, Koyomi essentially moved to a different timeline where their paths never crossed, thus avoiding the tragic fate he had witnessed1. The Parallel World with the Pigeon Memory In one of the parallel worlds, Koyomi and Shiori share a moment involving a pigeon. Shiori tells Koyomi about the pigeon, and this memory becomes significant. When Koyomi returns to World 0, Shiori surprisingly remembers the pigeon from that parallel world. This indicates that some memories and emotions can transcend the boundaries of parallel worlds, suggesting a deeper connection between them that persists despite the shifts in reality2. These elements add a layer of complexity and emotional depth to the story, highlighting the enduring nature of their bond across different dimensions.
