@adambird007 only broken ones, but there's loads of small offcuts, and if you want a massive bag of kindling, they charge £7 from Smartroof which will last you ages.

I tried a front sprocket swap last summer and the one I bought said it fit the Super Cub, but it did not. Ended up with the Kitaco kit (which I should have done to begin with) and it was fine. I later went back to the OEM sprocket because I didn't drive the bike long enough (distance) to see any change in gas mileage except for one really long trip. So, front sprocket swaps DO work, you just have to have a long ride to make use of them. You do lose a bit of top end, though, makes it harder to keep the bike up to speed if you're in a head wind or uphill. And how well does that windscreen work for you? I need something that's a bit taller and I've been looking at that one.

Givi screen is pretty good I had a puig b4 brackets made a plastic snapped then bought 2nd one on sale half price and snapped again in the cold weather. Givi is metal brackets strong as

Yeah little bit of wind my speed has gone as low as 50 screen dous not help until you have tail wind tuck in hit 66 and up to 75 down hill

10 psi ride slow for a bit 20 psi ride for a bit 30 psi ride for a bit. Top off pressure. Fixed.

I plan on purchasing a super cub at the end of January. This might sound silly but where do you park such a small motorcycle? I'm afraid of it being stolen.

Adapt to being afraid all though i think theres less appitite for these as you cant use a screwdriver to get em going and a profesional would rather tek sumthing more valuable. I use disc lock from time to time ill only park it in certain places i work at citys is a no go. Use an apple tag etc

Did the same thing to my cub's master cylinder cover screws. Damn things were made of cheese. Had to use a stuck screw remover bit to get them out and replace them with ebay screws. Also if there's friction when no brake is applied it could be that the caliper is on wonky, you should loosen the caliper bolts until the caliper can be wiggled a bit by hand. Then spin the front wheel and while it's spinning hold down the brake lever. Then tighten the bolts while still holding down the brakes.

Everyone that has done a front or rear sprocket has pretty much said what you have said. Maybe a small noticeable difference in acceleration and then a small loss of top speed. If I’m going through the trouble to change the rear sprocket, I want it to rip!!! Was 37T the biggest size compatible? Anyways, thanks for the Super Cub content!

Think you can find bigger rear sprockets to fit but this one works with same size chain. Have lost nearly 3mph did a gps speed test today

Enjoyed the vid. I've just retired and sold my cruiser (xvs950) and this is on my small list of bikes for a big euro tour. I've ridden a Suzuki Van Van from Yorkshire to Malaga so know what l want/need. I wouldn't have the screen though as it's flippin ugly.

Mixed feelings... overall its cheap to run and i do abit of milage so maybe itll only last 10 years if no1 trys to kill me 1st. Then i think ill be tempted to get iver meteor 350 or a kawasaki 1000sx

The Honda cub bikes are officially classed as motorcycles not scooters, scooters are twist and go with CVT transmission.

I do like a Super Cub, 1 bike i rode on waste land as a little lad was a C90! so always had a soft spot for these. But i ended up buying a SH300 just incase i wanted to go on faster roads, although i rarely go faster than 60mph anyway. I get high 80s mpg, doing same calculation as you M/L*4.546
