To achieve high productivity, we use high-power water-cooled systems. Although our induction brazing systems are very compact, the water-cooling unit is bulky and makes it impractical for field use

I've done a few custom at-home DIY heat pipe heatsink projects. Now in the past I've been using Sn38Bi42 low melt temp solder but have discovered recently that having silver part in the solder will improve it's strength. What solder paste would you recommend for heat pipe heatsink soldering?

If you use exterior tubing with wire centered in it, wouldn't you have an adjustable coil? You just need to make sure fluid can flow through the tube and over the wire! Cheers! If you try it, please let me know how it goes! It might be an interesting idea with interesting results! 🙏 Added input.... You may be able to use plastic and coil it around the wire before you insert it into the tube! That should allow for flexibility and coolant flow!

Soldering does not exceed 450 C. Where copper doesn't even begin to glow at that temperature, this is not a solder joint. I have solder joined hundreds of copper fittings but have never come close to it glowing bright orange.

this is wrong. you need to heat the carbide before the shank.... steel heats quicker hence your shank heated quicker then the blank. aka carbide has a higher heat tolerance
