Oh super cool, thanks for re-sharing this! I was just looking through an old download folder from 2007 and came across the old upload from 2006 with horrendous quality, decided to come see if any better versions had resurfaced since. Great to hear this cool lost song in pretty decent quality!

It’s such a shame this song was never on an album, there’s probably a studio version of it (from the same session that the studio version of heatherwood is from) but it will most likely never be found

I have another old song saved to a disc along with these demos here that doesn't appear anywhere else, called "Thank You and Goodnight". It is my absolute favorite out of all of their stuff I've ever heard. The Vocalist was in another band that had one small EP released after the June Spirit was done. They're called "Fire Divine" and the EP's name was "It's all a Blur". Someone was kind enough to post it on KZbin for us all to hear.

An update on my last comment: I forgot to sing it while walking up to him, but I remembered as soon as I got up to him, and told him "I was supposed to sing Control Alt Delete by A Day In The Life on my way over here but I forgot to!" and he was like "ohh, that's okay!" Anyways, I drew something for him. Colored it too. Gave him a copy and had him sign the original. He loved it so much that, in return, he gave me the guitar pick he used for the concert that night, SIGNED. I will forever treasure this pick. And I also got a signature from all 4 band members on some vintage Hawthorne Heights valentines day cards. Aaand I played rock paper scissors with JT. And won. So cool. Anyways, yeah that was awesome.

When I go to a Hawthorne Heights concert in a few days, if I get the opportunity to meet JT Woodruff again (I met him once at the Emo Orchestra late last year) I'm going to quietly sing Control Alt Delete on my way over there and see if he notices, haha. He might not.
