Hello. Did you figure out what the issue was with this sound. I have a 2016 Prius C that’s making that sound a lot. I live in Sri Lanka so it can’t be just because of the cold. Thank you.

It went away this summer but I think I’ll hear it again once the temp goes back down. Hasn’t caused any major problems so that’s good. Maybe just more of an annoyance. Did you fix yours?

I have exactly the same noise with my 2020 Rav4 Hybrid E4 The local dealer in Taiwan does not know how to fix it even they kept replicating the issue.

Since your still under warranty, i would tell them to just replace or check the master brake cylinder. Could be a faulty actuator.

as the temperature started warming up the noise started to go away. I don't think its anything major

I am having the same problem on my 2015 Camry hybrid, it started happening after about 50k miles, not sure what this is. Dealer doesn’t know either

Hmm, what's the temperature outside? You think it is also weather related? I Haven't paid too much attention anymore.. but it seems to have went away.. I try not to press the breaks super hard to a complete stop. I think when i slowly coast to a stop or depress slowly to a stop it doesn't make the noise.

The Same thing is happening on my Camry Hybrid. Were you able to find out the issue? It started happening after 50,000 miles or so on mine

Unfortunately no.. It comes and go.. recently its only been happening when i start up the car and when i depress the brake. While driving i barely hear it now.

No not yet.. seems to stop when the weather is warm. I decided if it’s not too big of a problem I’ll leave it be.. until it gets really bad I guess. Since your Toyota is new you’re still under warranty. Have them check it out. Some have pointed it out to the master cylinder actuator.
