You need to make a spring projectile on the bowling side so the ball pitches once before coming onto the bat just like in real cricket.

Fantastic, I had the idea for the batter, but not the idea for the bowler! need a figure for the wicket keeper, but well done in general very promising!

creativity at its highest...... would recommend a system that the ball gets old, as the overs pass... and please make different types of bowlers and batters if possible

If you play on the swing pitch and tilt the table for a slope, you can pretend you are playing at lords lol

Wow, this is insanely awesome! I'm a passionate Test Match tabletop cricket player (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWO4cpdjitComLs) and am struggling with the curse of broken batters. This batting mechanism seems to work really well. I'll need to look into building something like this for my setup. Thanks for sharing. Are you manufacturing these to sell online? If so, I'd be very interested to learn more. Cheers, Sean

Fantastic. I’d add a scoreboard with rolling wheel numbers, some click on battery op light towers maybe, and even some ramps/bumps near the fence in the outfield that the ball may hit and hop over the fence in other areas besides the corners for more 6’s, like square of wicket

Is this your invention Adrian? Really cool

Yes, I spent a few years just working out different ideas to make it as close to the real thing as possible. And also built from scratch as well. Thanks for your interest!
