It is also, the largest and longest Man-made tombstone in all of human civilizations, perhaps, tens and even a hundred thousands; Chinese workers, slaves, soldiers, prisoners etc. buried beneath the Great Walls.

Those Indonesians and Malaysians are claiming it's origin they are wrong. The ancient countries of China, India, Iran already had this for last 2000 years. It came to SEA only 1000 years ago. The exact origin is debated but is definitely from either India or China.

Very nice documentary I’ve noticed these documentaries don’t mention which falcon actually won? Neither the race or the pageant. - Who’s the winning falcon? - How much distance did she cover in how many seconds? - What is the current world record? Adding these details would increase interest I think. Another thing I’ve noticed about this documentary specifically is that everytime somebody uses an Arab phrase which mentions God, it is not put in the subtitles translation. Like 34:40 / 19:30 The rap was also not translated.

Itis amazing, but China is a 5000 year old civilization. They are industrious and proud, and it is no wonder that they could accomplish something of this magnitude.

Well i never knew that the Han ancient wall was stretched all the way into the boarders of Central asia, i'm wonder if there was a coaprative mega project have taken place in the ancient times that we are unaware of. I learned about the Great wall of Gorgan built during the Parthian empire which was stretched from caspian sea to uzbakistan, could the two walls been connected at some point in the history? maybe the ancient chinese and ancient parthians constructed the a huge ancient wall together to keep out the raiding nomads of xiangnu and scythians? this to me looks like we missing a big event in the history.

What's hysterical is it didn't stop the Mongols! They invaded at least 4 times! The sad part is thousands died building that useless wall and it bankrupted the Mings! Their self-righteous and egotistical effects were a disaster!

It's hysterical the Chinese spent billions building that useless wall! And over seven hundred thousand peasants died building it! But the Mongols still invaded and conquered great swaths of Chinese territory!

The 99.999 brick story is obviously a myth. When you do the calculations, the lowest estimate gives you 161260 bricks for the fort's wall alone. The bricks are roughly 50cmx10cm, that's 500 cm² per brick. The wall is 733m long and 11m high so that makes 8063m² or 80630000cm². Divide that with 500 and you get the amount of bricks, which is 161.260. There are two sides (I assume the inner materials were not bricks) so I add 80% of the outer wall for the inner one because it's shorter. That makes 290.268 bricks. A bit more than 99.999 and I'm not even counting in the towers and/or other buildings in the fort. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, I just enjoy calculating that kind of statements/fact checking bold claims ;-) (also: I'm drunk so if i made a miscalculation you are free to correct me)

Tartarian Empire refers to a group of pseudohistorical conspiracy theories, including ideas of a "hidden past" and "mud floods " which originated as pseudoscientific Russian nationalism. Tartary or Tartaria is a historical name for Central Asia and Siberia. The secret about great Wall, it's not own by china. It's just rebuild the china. Try searching Tartary Empire. China acting like they own everything., Just like Ours, West Philippines sea
