I have a liberty FL51M effluent pump. The pump runs at 120 volts AC at 12 running amps. Many mechanical floats I've seen are 13 amp rated. Would it be OK to run with a 15 amp float to give the eff. pump a leeway without damage to any component (pump or float)? What float brand is compatible with the FL51M? I'm working out the connections at the tank. I used to have the 4x4 wood post, outlets and alarm box with the 3 cords (pump and 2 float switches). I have a new septic panel and disconnect to go on the wall like you have. The remaining issue is bringing the 3 cords from the tank (about 6ft from the wall) to the control box, there is no unground "box", just cords coming out of the tank. I bought a 10" round x 12"dp sprinkler box and I'm planning to run a conduit underground and glue a 4x4 sealed box on the end with 3 sealing cord connectors in the sprinkler box. If the float and pump cords aren't long enough, I'll put a sealed splice on them so they are continuous through the conduit with no connections underground. When it comes time to replace one, it can be fed through the conduit without having to dig up all the wiring again. What do you think? I don't see much if anything readily available for the actual tank connections or any videos.

Well done video. Quick, but not too fast. Good sound and camera. Thanks for having background music low enough so we can hear what the speaker is saying. Mostly this procedure will be done out in the sun on the ground since the units are usually hard wired so I like to have all of the wrenches and pieces ready to go as to do it quickly, if that is possible. I heard the diaphragm nut is a 7mm? The set screw is kind of a mystery for me as I have not done the replacement before. I also heard you can rebuild the units 2-3 times and then the unit will need to be replaced. Thank you for the informative video.

The air pump is so much better tham that shaft areator. The smells pver the last 16 years are gone when sprinklers come on. @@radiocjl could be you in a nyadic you would hear air because of how they are set up. you can see most of the pipes inside the tank they are not hidden. so if you can’t hear air or see it bubbling it’s probably disconnected where it comes into the tank or close to the aerator. you can call the office our family has installed nyadic for 25 years so we know just a little bit about them lol.

old video but worth a shot. my installers screwed up 17 years ago and issues since. the 1.25 pvc comes in riser almost at tank level with a typical elbow box. Flooding during heavy rains so all the switches and pump wired there. I am adding an elbow and bring the box near top since difficult to seal 4 sets of wires into this WP lidded box. I am trying to run buried flex conduit for pump, probably use 12/2. The floats, probably use TW wire but see other shielded stranded wire a fraction of the 20' needed, so 120' for all 6 wires. The old shafts can't compare plus if it floods the aerator will.still diffuse and not blow and tear up bearings. Been watching the float set ups and I may keep the float where it is but lower the override and set the alarm just before the inlet pipe. That should alert me that the water level is almost at the bio filter outlet. I am definitely taking that class to do own servicing and reporting to the county. @@wholesalesepticsupply9801 Thanks for the response! We have recently discovered that our WEEKLY cleaners were cleaning showers/toilets/bathtubs with chlorine bleach. About 5-8 cups worth of bleach each week. So our tank was getting 20-30 cups of bleach per month since March. We have since gotten our tank pumped (2 weeks ago), and were advised to add baking soda to the septic (which neutralizes the bleach) and are also adding weekly commercial septic bacteria compound to the tank. The cleaners did come once before we put two and two together. The company we purchased the commercial septic bacteria from said for 5-8cups of bleach could take 6-8 weeks to rebalance the tank, Right now we are just being patient and going 100% bleach free for the 6-8 weeks to see if we see (or smell) any improvements.

Dumb question. Why do you put water back in when you called to have it emptied?
@wholesalesepticsupply98015 ай бұрын
@@IronHorse2007 on a aerobic septic a pump discharges the water in most applications. You are cleaning it to remove solids not water. Aerobic systems are sometimes fiberglass so it’s important they have weight added to them so they don’t float out of the ground is one reason. also the alarm switch needs back pressure to engage the switch properly or the alarm will go off endlessly until that tank has water in it. since it is the second tank depending on how many people that could be days so we fill the aerobic unit so this doesn’t happen.
