Hoping you might be able to help me here! I just purchased the 830 Edge and I am unable to find the Ride with GPS or Strava Routes applications within the screen you're seeing on the right at 2:50. Is there some place in the Garmin Express app on my computer that I should be looking for these applications to add to my Edge? I'm stuck here

I like to cycle very varied routes; combinations of fast asphalt to challenging MTB trails. I rode the Vittoria Terreno Dry for a long time: pleasant on the road and yet decent grip on rough terrain. But I often slipped on steep slopes on loose surfaces. I expected the Pirellis to be slower on asphalt, but they turned out to be even faster. And the grip on loose terrain is so much better with the Pirellis than with the Vittorias. The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M is really a perfect all-rounder. Love them!

How about a video for fitting the tyres? These and the Cinturato All Road Gravel Tyre 700x35c are a nightmare to fit.

You can extend the battery life by also changing the GPS settings. Settings - Bike Settings - Road - GPS System. I have it on Normal and that seems to work fine for most navigation/route following. High or Ultra High Accuracy would probably drain the battery more. Also the more bluetooth/ANT devices you have paired the more battery drain so if you have a phone, HR monitor, power meter, Di shifting and a tail light all connected it will burn through quickly. Turning off Alerts and Messaging also helps. One thing I noticed and have no answer to yet is why only some of my routes saved in Strava import into the Bryton app and not all of them. What is the criteria for selecting which ones to import? If I create a duplicate of a course and give it a new name it will import on the next sync so maybe its got something to do with when the course was created

Thanks for the review! Really great to see that these tyres last that long. I had schwalbe g-one allround tires on my bike, but after around 2k km the rear thread has become a slick with the canvas showing through at some spots. I did abuse it a bit, but that is half the fun of course. Having something with grip that lasts as well, sounds perfect

3:44 Is there support for open street map, no satellite image? I know Trailforks is supported on some of their computers, but would be interesting to see how well that works. If I can't navigate properly there's no point in having the navigation on. only solution is a proper map. IMO a cycling computer these days should have all functionality of using Trailforks on my phone. So far I just use my phone. But if I find computer that convinces me, I might buy one.

Tip for touch screen usage with gloves, some spit on the glove will likely solve it. Not sanitary, but worked for me on touch devices.

My rides go past 4 hours, but I suspect I might reach max battery life at some point if I do longer rides. So Bryton Rider S800 d seems to be borderline, just enough to be usable. Can you at least turn the light down easily?

My iPhone 14 ProMax takes horrible pictures. It's always been shitty. I absolutely hate apple, feel like I was forced to get one because everyone at work complains about the text groups etc. My OnePlus 7T that was half the price takes WAY better photos.

Puncturing is part of performance, if a tire punctures then it makes you ultimately slower because you'd have to fix the puncture.

Ritchey comp ergomax or zipp service 70 XPLR wanna 46 size, chosing between the two. I would pick ritchey BUT due to narrow instalation part probly will go with XPLR.... but i feel that the ritchey is more comfortable. If they would made it without the uplift, it would be best budget bar that you could get.

I picked up the 700×40 rode a full weekend on them 50% road 50% off road, absolutely no complaints riding pavement. ( off road grip 👌 ) I'm a hobbyist photographer carrying my camera everywhere I ride, having more peace of mind knowing I'm more less likely to slip, crash and damage my camera. Thank you for your review on the Cinturato M

I found this model avail for under 100 bux these days.. I am not sure you can find this feature set for less these days.. Aged well for an affordable option. Great for me as I have multiple bikes in ultiple formats and prefer to not have to swap accessories over.

Tried the “easy” 11-46/GRX tricks folks mentioned in comments for my Bianchi road bike: nothing and goatlink. Shifting was terrible in both cases even with chain lengthening and B-screw adjustment. Put on the Garbaruk cage and pulley wheels, 4 extra chain links and it works flawlessly

If I were to use internal routing for the steerer, how does that solve the problem? I.e - what would be there to fill the void? (other than the cable/hose) I'm new to custom builds - I'm considering having one built by a pro, but I'd like to understand as much as I can

I had the H tyres stock in my bike and did around 1k km with them. They are nice but I found out that where and how I mostly like to ride the H just doesn't have the grip and durability so I bought the M's. Fast and loose descents and steep punchy gravel climbs is what I signed them in with some exploring on occasional single tracks. Looks promising, really eager getting to testing them!
