I can't tell you how deeply annoying I find the sound it makes when someone hits the strings on a guitar with the side of their thumb. It really cuts through me like a knife and wrecks my nervous system, tightening my facial muscles into a cramp. Some guitarists obviously love it, but for people like me it triggers severe stress symptoms. The guitar is not a percussion instrument and should NEVER be used as such. Use a real percussion instrument instead and find someone to help you who can actually play that kind of an instrument, or at the very least put a warning flag on your videos featuring this kind of abomination.

This is unbelievable. I have never seen a moee perfect guitarist than this. And tbe techniques jsed and the speed. Mind-blowing. Even i am a guitarost. I learned normal pixkinf worh a pick. And rhen chords. And now fingerstyle. I am ablw to play simple modern songs but struggling with this one. Even rhough it is the most basic one in my book. Lol

Picking up and learniing to play guitar nearly fifty years was the best thing I ever did. This lad is doing great work and his guitar will be a friend for life.

I wouldn't say the accents are on two and four, it's not like the skank is the reggae equivalent of a snare hit, the accent in reggae lies solely on the three, where the kick and snare hit (also called a one drop beat) it's better to hear the skank as going to the accent rather than being the accent itself
