Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get back to being polite and respecting our differences? Nowadays a lot of people want to force their belief system on others. The pandemic made it even worse. Different strokes for different folks. That’s the beauty of live.

I don't think romantic relationships are a good thing and I think this world would be a much better place without them. Most fathers hope that their daughter never finds a partner and remain single for her whole life due to the dangers and risks of romantic relationships. It seems nearly all fathers don't ever want their daughter to have a boyfriend/husband. The overprotective father thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and that this world would be a better place without them. Most fathers seem to get upset whenever their daughter dates someone, and that proves that romantic relationships are a bad thing. Being single is far safer than being in a romantic relationship. People (especially women) should avoid romantic relationships and be single.

I am kind of in the middle of this debate kids or no kids. But WTF is that response from her “friend” to showing her engagement ring. That is just so incredibly odd to say at that point. You know that has way more to do with that woman and what she was going through rather than the person in this video. Even most impolite people will wait to ask “when are you having kids” at the wedding not at the showing of the engagement ring. So weird.

1 Corinthians 7:5-9 King James Version "For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." Matthew 19:12 King James Version "For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

Well, she has the right not to have children. People have the right to critique her decision. However, I have seen and read too many incidences where childless (and unmarried) women in their 60s regret their decisions. I just ask people to take care of your decisions.

Manusmriti and Its Discriminatory Principles Against Women Manusmriti, an ancient Hindu text, is often criticized for its regressive stance on women. It institutionalized the idea of patriarchy, placing women under the authority of male figures at all stages of life-father in childhood, husband in adulthood, and sons in old age. Women were denied independence and were considered secondary to men. The text explicitly mentions that women should not study the Vedas, thus barring them from accessing knowledge and spiritual growth. Moreover, it portrays women as inherently weak, untrustworthy, and incapable of self-governance, which led to centuries of gender inequality and suppression in traditional Hindu society. Manusmriti and the Marginalization of Shudras Manusmriti also laid down a rigid caste hierarchy that placed Shudras, the so-called lower caste, at the bottom of the social order. It denied them access to education, religious practices, and basic rights. The text imposed severe penalties on Shudras if they even attempted to learn or recite Vedic scriptures. It legitimized their subjugation and exploitation by the upper castes, particularly the Brahmins and Kshatriyas. Shudras were relegated to menial labor and excluded from participating in the societal or religious decision-making process. This systemic discrimination created deep social divisions, perpetuating inequality and oppression for generations.

It's wild because child - free people would probably make the best parents - self aware, emotionally tuned into the reality of a child growing up and living in this life. Probably 80% of people who have kids go in ignorantly. Probably why they get so aggressively upset at other people who are able to make the informed decision. Their insistance on everyone making the same choice feels like a lot of projection. Like drowners who want others to sink with them. People secure and content with their choices don't care what others do.

We live in a highly dysfunctional society, a society engineered by psychopaths. People nowadays don't even smile at each other in the street they're so freaking traumatised. 50 years ago adults wouldn't have behaved like children, now we're supposed to accept that as normal. The typical corporate office is a version of Hell, there's no real way you can win. If you get involved then you will encounter group dynamics which you'd rather not be a part of, if you don't get involved you could become a target. It's a rat race, truth be told

Ill never understand the need for kids, they are horrible, they demand so much and give little back and they require incredible patience and sacrifice only the most dedicated and selfless of us can ever do. No thank you and good for you and many other women who choose this path, its your lives, do the best for yourselves
