Is that a homemade bass. Thanks for the tutorials. Nice and short; easy for beginners. I’ve recommended it to three players in jour Uke groups, who are hoping to stand in when regular bassist is absent.

I made a banjo from a tambourine with the jingles removed. Shorter length. Sounds good .I might play it next year as I left in the Philippines 5 years ago unfortunately! Yours sounds delightful. We'll done

Cool! How is the head tensioned in this banjo model?
@BuzzardsfieldАй бұрын
No need to adjust tension with this one. The strings are low tension and the head is synthetic, simple!

@@Buzzardsfield was wondering, can it be a replacement for bass guitar ? Will it work the same? Also , are this kind of ukulele expensive ? Or is it about same as normal ones Thanks for video..
@Buzzardsfield3 жыл бұрын
@@arielbene2013 well they are tuned and played same is a bass guitar. You can totally replace a bass guitar with a bass uke although it sounds like a double bass rather than a straight bass guitar. They cost similar to low to mid range bass guitars.

Hello, would a scale length of around 18 inches work for one of your kits?
@MariaCalfaDePaul3 жыл бұрын
Just started the bass two days ago and this morning found your series. I liked and subscribed and I also laughed when you said “just because you can play chords doesn’t mean you should “. Great advice. Looking forward to more videos.

Old trick, draw in the nut groove with a pencil, the graphite will lubricate the string for tuning.

either the recording uke or your bass uke wasn't tuned properly, it's a bit clashing there. maybe it's the acoustics of the recording though.
