It looks like the three of your had a marvelous time in The Big Apple! I spent a few hours at Mood Fabrics this past August. To be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed and had a hard time making choices. I did manage to get two different yardages suitable for quilting. And the ZIPPER selection?!?! Yes, I can home with zippers! Keeping with the artistic theme of the day, I walked (farther than I had bargained for) to the MoMa and had am amazing time there. In the evening, it was Moulin Rouge and then margaritas at Sombrero with the gang.

It was overwhelming. Alysha and Tammy came home with one piece of fabric, Linda just bought chalk and glue! The shear volume of fabric, tubes on tubes on tubes made it hard to see what was really there. Although the treasure hunt aspect was fun.

I was able to buy that walking foot with my Janome that is about 5 years old. Yes Tammy I will get you the name of my machines.

Our Janome machines do tend to last, it's not the kind of thing you have to update all the time...unless you choose too.

OMG when you started talking about silks I was saying don’t do it Barb. And of course you did. A funny story needs to be told. (Unless it’s about me) When you said you might be the aggressive one. Mama lost it. No truer words were said. 😂😂😂😂

Hi: I just want to know the reason why when I sew with the sewing machine, around the neck, (stay stitch), the bobbin thread feels just a bit tight? Is that how it should be? I'm using needle and thread recommended by the fabric store. The fabric I'm using is crepe. Thank you

WORKED PERFECT 👍 Your video was great I loved listening to your voice, your speech was very clear and easy to understand overall great job!!! I did have to watch the video a couple of times to see that you folded both sides of the seam allowances in. I watch hours of "how to" videos for sewing. Seeing that you are somewhat new to the creating of videos, I would like to recommend that the colors of your demonstrated projects are in great contrast to ALL your backgrounds. Clothes, machine, table, nail polish. And of course your thread and material colors MUST contrast as well. I think black thread on yellow fabric would be a great choice. Here's to great success in your adventure!!! I trust that you will receive lots and lots of people for your classes. Peace and prosperity!!

PERFECT 👌 Straight to the issue!! I always wondered why if you needed to be sure to stuff the corner so tightly, you would first cut away the excess!!

Thank you. Do you measure the line you drew all the way to the corner? Is it half way exactly to the corner?
@sewingcafe7 жыл бұрын
Hi Chelsea No its about 2 inches from the half way mark. Blend the new cutting line into the original cutting line. Hope that's helps! Let us know!
@sewingcafe7 жыл бұрын
Yes to make sure all the lines are the same all around the pillow. And no, the line is not half way to the corner, only about 2/3's to the centre. It would make it pointy if the lines joined in the centre.
