To each their own. We felt that the best way to id these birds was once they were swimming in the decoys. We ultimately wanted to eat them so the chance to make sure to have a positive id - since it was only teal that were legal to shoot - was important. Once the regular season is open, we do less of this since birds are colored up and identification on the wing is much easier.

If I remember correctly on garmin that’s under color scheme: yellow. It’s similar to old hummingbird. Maroon is also nice as the hard returns are red instead of yellow.

It's one main motor and then one kicker. Either a 9.9 or a 15 hp I believe.

So we put 4" Mr Twister on to a micro pond magic spinner......16" leader......1oz weight at top of leader......then troll at .5 to .7 mph..... Vermilion, Leech, Winne, amd Mil Lacs it been all tiny ...... hybrid lindy swear it works better
