@LaunchBawx Not really. Do some research online for place here in Maine to dig. There are quite a few good places and in NH as well. Depends what your looking for. For me its the thrill of finding something good, treasure hunting. We go to NY for herkimer diamonds every year. When you dig and dig and dig then finally find one its so exciting. Thats what I love about all these kind of hobbies. Good luck 🍀

Not for sluice boxes. You do need permission from Twin River campground if that is where you are sluicing

Yes the logging company owns that area of the river. You can stop at Coos Canyon Rock and Gift shop and get your permission slip if you want to dredge

Turn right at Coos Canyon Rock and Gift shop and head up over the mountain the river will be on your right

I believe its a lot to do with angle and water flow. That sluice still runs carpet and that is proven to catch gold. Im sure I lose some as well. Try experimenting with angles and flow. When I first started I took bb’s from bird shot and tried different things with those. Hope this helps

If you turn at coos canyon and cross the bridge and head up the hill a few miles you will come to the river (where the video is) there is places along the dirt road to park
