To my view and experience of malinke Djembe percussionmusic, this drumming is a mix of straight middle Europe and Malinke rhyttm. If you Africans are submitting your original lifely rhyttms to the marching patterns of militarymusic, then something is going seriously wrong ! 'Cause a three cutt from its roots is a death one. From a lifetime african drummer.

This song is so beautiful and deeply moving. I was in the audience for this performance at Touch Mother Earth, and I was on the edge of my seat, tears streaming down my face. Same thing happened just now watching the video. I'll be sharing this with friends.
