Congratulations 🥳…. What was the readings of Papp-A and beta HCG and NT. The NIPT also show risk or it was no risk.

I just need some info on it as we are currently in 1st trimester and the NT is 2.4 and the risk shows 1/35 But the NIPT shows no risk

@saravanana8774 Thank you! :) We initially wanted to proceed with the NIPT, but we were discouraged by two OB-GYNs who wouldn't provide us with a referral, which is required where we live. Their reasoning was: "NIPT may provide limited information, and if it comes back positive, an invasive test would still be needed to confirm. Since both husband and wife would not consider terminating the pregnancy based on the results, they should consider whether they'd opt for an invasive test (like amniocentesis) regardless." At 13 weeks, our NT reading was 7.2mm, and when repeated at 15 weeks, it measured 4.5mm, which was still classified as thick. Both ultrasounds were done by the same radiologist. Wishing you all the best on your pregnancy journey, and I hope everything turns out well for you too!
