0:16 Shanadoo has d best version. There's also a Japanese version called chinese boy by yukano yamaguchi. Sweden's power punk group Psychotic Youth also does a version.

I never knew they had recorded this song too. This is a nice version, though the Merrilee Rush version is still my favorite.

was this version the original one or was it a cover of Noosha's Love Ship"?
@michaelmullings76906 ай бұрын
It was a cover of the Fox song sung by Noosha, but that in turn was not the original, which was the Kenny Young version, which had Noosha on backing vocals.

Great harmonies from three original members of the New Seekers.
Excellent cover, ads some sensuality to the original, making the song more "flowing". Yeah, certainly some added value or at least, another way of looking at this song.

I do like the New Seekers' rendition of the "Angel Of The Morning" song as well as that of "Come Softly To Me" (by the Fleetwoods). --Ven Santiago

Merrilee Rush's superb rendition of the song would put Seattle in Washington on the map in 1968. Ms. Rush is still actively performing with her own band up until now. -- Prof. Ven Santiago/Southern California in U.S. and the Metro Manila, Philippines
