It was a cover of the Fox song sung by Noosha, but that in turn was not the original, which was the Kenny Young version, which had Noosha on backing vocals.

Merrilee Rush's superb rendition of the song would put Seattle in Washington on the map in 1968. Ms. Rush is still actively performing with her own band up until now. -- Prof. Ven Santiago/Southern California in U.S. and the Metro Manila, Philippines
