They interview the women.. Yet, I have never seen any footage of any of them making it out and back, or finishing the race. This the first time I have ever seen they had a women's category and that women participated.

Wow!! Great recap of the Busan Sup Open with the behind story of athletes on the racing day. :) With nature, luck, wind, wave, sunset time, law...left hand/right hand dominant, racing close together, falling...it was so unpredictable and amazing to see with great energy/vibe of everyone. Athletes to APPWorldTour CEO, media people(photographer, videographer etc) and the crowds who never saw SUP and got fascinated by the nature of race(unpredictable that day with nature). Thank you for the great video and putting all together! SUP clinic with champion Connor was also so fun and great!! Learned so much and so fun! Personally! 😊 Seeing amazing athletes and the spirit was so inspiring! 😍

Busan 2023 is basically down to Infinity and Starboard boards being used by the contestants. It is kinda weird not seeing other brands. I did see at least one NSP. But, it is weird seeing so many Starboards followed by the Infinity's.

Thank you so much for the live commentary with so much useful info for beginners as well!! I love to compete next APPWorldTour 2024 as an amateur. I was at the race/events all 3 days and it was amazing! Especially that men's long distance race! Was so touching and moving-cried...as it seemed so hard and challenging but all the athletes did their best and completed. I was cheering up the last athlete as I didn't want them to feel left out. :) We don't laugh at them! We cheered for them! :)) <3 They should be proud of themselves! 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐇𝐚𝐢𝗺𝐞 is born in USA and went to Argentina when she was 11(her mother is from Argentina). So I assume she's dual citizen. Anyway! She's machine!!! So inspiring! APPWorldTour did great job on hosting/organizing/running this amazing event with KAPP(KoreaAPPWorldTour). They were wonderful! And all the athletes were very nice too! Warm people and staffs! Wish more athletes and people would participate and enjoy the event 2024 and ongoing!! Thanks for the great commentary live streaming!!! 😍

This was really great footage. I love watching races but I have to put in my two cents. I don’t feel like this was a sprint race. To me, it looks like a really short technical race. I feel like the number of turns, for a sprint race, should be very minimal and limited to only one turn. I’m not trying to bad mouth anyone. I just feel like the sport should standardize sprints because the intention is to see who is the fastest as a very short time.

We have a couple of SUP racing events in my home town, Whitley Bay in the UK. I even managed to film the 2022 event The water (the North Sea) is pretty cold too
