@@fermyonds Although I have thoroughly spoiled the game for myself at this point, with let's plays and lore videos, I know the game pretty much inside out😅 Still, the gameplay alone offers practically endless replay value, definitely one of the best FromSoft games, hard to choose a favorite between AC6, ER and the Souls series.

Haven't touched FF ever since their Gameboy days. Never imagine there would be the day when I witness Ifrit (a basic summon back then) and Phoenix (only used for revive) would go toe to toe against the King of Summons, let alone being this epic. It's like knowing 2 chill but otherwise unremarkable dudes back in childhood, only to meet up years later as adults and they're both celebrities 😂

I tried him a dozen of times and that phase 2 convinced me that i would have never been able to beat him "fairly" that build makes him one of the easiest boss in the game lmao. It's Just a build not an exploit so i guess it's still fair game tho 🥸

Is your shield max upgrade? What shield are you using? The Moore shield also works really well since it has 90 guard boost

Yes, I have Finger and Moore maxed. In 2nd phase his attacks are non stop. That's impossible. Fuck From Software.

Ok so for any challenge where you either have to go to anor londo or sen's fortress, you can preform sen's gate skip with the deathcam glitch, this will unload the gate allowing you to walk in and quit out to skip both, the gargoyles and quelaag, just be warned that when preforming the glitch it gives you tank controls

I found Barricade Shield to work best for the Shield, or just No Skill so that you can use the AoW on your Rapier. For the Rapier, ideally you want an AoW like Seppuku or Poisonous Mist. If you go for Poisonous Mist, you want a Blood Affinity. If you go for Seppuku, you want a Poison Affinity. This way you can stack 3 different debuffs at once (bleed, poison, scarlet rot)

Even with this build it is still impossible I always take damage even with my sheild guarding, and I get knocked back fairly easy

Does your shield have 100% physical resistance? Also, make sure you use the Golden Braid for holy resistance in phase 2. Helps a lot

@@fermyonds well, my sheild is maxed out, and I use greatsheild talisman, dragoncrest, two turtle, and pearldrake, but I get knocked back the second my stamina bar drains, and I still take damage with my sheild, idk how to fix it to make the build better

Which shield are you using to be exact? Could try the Verdigris as well. I've liked using that one personally. With the 90 guard boost you will barely lose stamina

SO WHY IS IT A CHEEESE ? ....if it's in the game it's not a cheese ! , a cheese is an exploit or an unintentional glitch .. using a bow and arrow a spell a buff an ash of war a physick flask a spirit ash a potion a poison a great rune an incantation etc etc ..are they all methods of cheesing the game ?

Sorry I'm only getting back to this comment now!! I was gonna do it earlier but I forgot. Either way, I guess it depends on how you define a ''cheese'' strategy -- In my mind it's generally something that makes an encounter infinitely easier than any other strategy (for example in DS3 using Pestilent Mist vs. Midir) -- Of course I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with using this or really any strategy -- I just consider it to be the most effective / cheesiest way to do it. Maybe I got my terminology wrong though -- if that's the case, I'm sorry
