Do you suppose that humankind has evolved to a place of true love, acceptance? I am lying awake on election night, mourning what appears to be the result, wondering how we can have so little love of others or self? So little understanding of Christ consciousness snd its power. So much hate and fear of the other. My soul is truly downcast. I know I am not of this world, reality or whatever it is. Why can’t I learn this lesson another way? It is so painful. What did Jesus say - if there be another way, but if not thy will be done. How can this be the will of love/God? I am old. How can I still be so confused about life? So tired of the separation between us.

It is only Christ who can change this broken land

I have been a church musician for over 50 years. My faith journey has been a long and challenging one as I have sought to understand and resonate with what I believe the church teaches about Jesus. But that teaching is so lacking compared to my experience of Christ. I love the community of the church, the music, Communion; but it is melting before my eyes. The presence of higher consciousness must be addressed. It is here. It has always been here and Jesus taught it. I, for one, am on the same page, as you, I think.
