Perhaps the Scots here getting all OUTRAGED at Irish people singing this song might need a little reminder that the quintessential Scottish modern kilt was invented by an Englishman Rawlinson from Lancashire. Tartan was commonplace throughout Celtic Europe. The Scots have no ownership rights to it. 😂

I have a Fairy Tale Vision of Ireland. I was Born there a long time ago. I still think there is nothing better than Ireland and the Irish People. However, I do think that any Celebrity or anyone who has made it has been compromised and is part of an Evil Club. Bought and paid for. I can vouch for me and mine, my relatives, mostly dead or distant, were the backbone of Ireland. Open, very open, Friendly People. God Bless.

Everyone: go listen to the version by FaceVocalBand - to my mind it's the best. THIS version here is too slow and too pretentious, they are all trying much too hard ... ... but it is done well but not quite well enough ...
