Did you switch cameras from Sigma to Sony? I really like your Sigma look. I know the Sony is overwhelmingly better in terms of convenience, but do you feel it's better in terms of colour correction?

still own the sigma and will continue using it :) the A7cII was a rental. I do find color correction more straightforward with sony cameras and the factory CSTs/LUTs. That being said the degree to which you can augment/push the colors from cinemaDNG with the sigma can't really be matched and being able to fix white balance in post is really nice.

wow such huge improvement in a single month! congrats.Love the look but definitely try turning on IBIS on your camera since the zve1 should have it if I am not wrong!

appreciate the kind words! still experimenting with different settings but avoided IBIS here since its not compatible with gyroflow

do you use active stabilization? or gyro ?

all stabilization is turned off in camera and then im using Gyroflow to stabilize the footage in post.

thank you! fixed highlights/shadows/exposure in BMD film in the raw tab and then used dehancer for the rest

@@djrWkdakal nice! I used mostly cinestill 800T for the film profile and then almost everything turned off except for "print" which I used linear and "expand" which I kept to default
