I saw one with full service history, 136k miles, for $3000. I'm scared to get it, but I think your video gave me a bit of confidence. Also, it's a CAT N.

The TDV6 wont give issues until atleast 180,000 miles. This is if you actually bother to do its maintenance. Never buy a RR or any higher end vehicle if you think its gonna save the same intervals as a vauxhall corsa from 1999

Things I've noted on a Ford Ranger 2.2 Manual 70,000 miles .... 1. Oil changes are nightmare 10mins only or pump loses prime 2. Oil pump failure will total your engine 3. ABS sensor / wiring loom can sheer / snap / become a problem 4. ECM is a nightmare - grab a blue tooth dongle - to clear errors - The BCM to ECM can cause weird errors if like being unable to turn your headlights on without clearing the errors! 5. Turbo air hoses can split underneath on battery mount 6. Watch the engine mounts - rattling noises can be chain pulley bearing gone or engine mounts. Otherwise no real issues - I live rural - this thing can do town / city / rural easily... oh and run Redex / injector cleaner in your mix regularly.

Hi mate just curious how much does it cost to fill the tank on these models and what mileage you get for a full tank? Write back thanks
@micks76552 жыл бұрын
But the consumption is not that good, it is very heavy car just like Q7 Audi or BMW x5, but if want a good SUV for low price and save to drive anywhere 🤔, well here in Slovenia they cost between 4000/9000€ ,but they don't sell well because of the issues!?

I love everything about the exterior and interior of this model. Yet I'm scared to buy one for all the reasons you mentioned. I can buy one now which I like, it's a 2006 range rover sport hse 2.7 tdv6 with almost 300.000 km on it. It's had 2 owners till now and has full service history. What do think I should do? And now I'm at it, what does hse stand for ? Loved the video btw.

I had TDV8 for 6 years and put 200,000kms on it, it was a 2007 model. I never had an issue with it, apart from a one turbo hose which was $150 aus. Between towns in the outback it may or may not have sat on 160km/h for long lengths of time. Wished I never sold it. There is a kid on KZbin that bought one “rocky section adventures” I think, and it goes strong off road. The only wearable item I thought was a bit overboard on the tdv8 was the fact that I would go through brake rotors a bit more than normal and they were brembo’s but I think that was more to do with my driving it hard. I’m going to buy another RRS but in a 2.7diesel as a second car to go off road in and tow etc. I’ve been in one a few times and they go very well. With lower running costs too
