@edzest I have completed your full video on all 3 domains. I can't express in words how useful it was for my preparation. Though I am stuck at one point. I understand three kind of question. 1. What should have been done to avoid the situation ? - The action project manager might have done to avoid 2. What should be done to prevent the situation in future ? - The preventive action. 3, What should project manager do first ? - The first step in the described situation. In case the question is like, * What should project manager do ? Here, no hint for corrective or preventive or first step kind is there. What should be the approach to answer such question ?

For Task 1, Q3 Accommodating would mean giving up team’s opinion. There’s nothing in the question that says it will be beneficial for the project. Hence, typically we go with both the opinions discussed. Task 2 Q3. You’re right it’s a conflict. But I didn’t understand the part of “categories”. Task 8 Q3 Negotiation is nothing wrong- it only means discussing and finding out what works best where both the parties are able to put in their points of opinions.

Thank you for officially covering all of the task areas with Q&A videos, Amit. It seems so obvious to me that if the PMP exam follows the Exam Content Outline, the study materials should follow the same structure, yet most sources still seem to build off the PMBOK 6 or PMBOK 7 or some combination of the two with a bit of Agile thrown in. It makes studying very inefficient and discouraging. Your domain overviews plus the task-specific videos are the best resources I've found. They gave me the confidence to finally sign up for the PMP exam after struggling through a boot camp and multiple, full-length exam simulators and getting nowhere. I'm now a PMP thanks to your hard work and excellent teaching style. 100 thumbs up!

Hi, In task 1.9 -Q1 isn't B a better option than A? because ,for a stakeholder, Information radiator is too technical and they might not be interested in knowing technicality. Instead Sprint review indicates the progress by demonstrations of what has been done ?Kindly clarify
@edzest4 күн бұрын
Hi, when progress of the project is discussed information radiator is better. For progress of product, a demo/review will be better. Also, information radiator isn’t technical, it’s just a dashboard of reports of teams progress in the project. I think I’m late in responding to your question. Saw the comment that You’re already certified. :) 👍🏻

In Q32, it is also not mentioned that team can't gain expertise. So, assuming that team can fullfill the expertise needs, option A would be appropriate. Please correct me, if I am wrong. Thank you!
@edzest3 күн бұрын
Hi, it would be difficult to gain expertise on a matter towards the end of the project when only 3 months are left. We can provide training but that wouldn’t bring expertise. Hence, C is better here.

What is the meaning of Engage Stakeholders by Category, what is category?
@edzest4 күн бұрын
Hi, when you analyse the stakeholders you try to understand the power, influence, interest etc. and apply power-interest grid and salience model etc to “categorise” stakeholder in different categories and plan a response.
@Remyasj-vlogs10 күн бұрын
I'm just curious what do we update in the risk register in the above case? In the previous videos and answers, we always analyze the answers by breaking into parts. Even though the second part is correct( schedule impact analysis, facilitate meeting) , we may not update a risk register once issue happened already. So in that case option C sound better than A right ?

Hi Amit, I noticed that the part of your video on integrated change control shows impact analysis being done after submitting the change request. Does this mean we don’t analyze the change beforehand, or should some level of analysis still be done before submitting the request? Could you please clarify?
@edzest11 күн бұрын
Hi, there are two parts to it. Raising a change request- whenever anyone(team or stakeholders) feels the need of a change, they can request it with preliminary analysis from their side. Submitting the request for approval- before submitting the request for approval, detailed analysis must have been done by the team and reviewed by PM.

I am preparing for PMP exam and its a second attempt, practising with your videos. When ever getting doubts, entered the details in the comment section... Regarding Task 1 (Manage Conflict) - Question 3 (20:33), could Option B be more suitable for this question? Since the sponsor is expecting the MVP to generate revenue as soon as possible, choosing 'Accommodate' seems to align better than 'Compromising.' Could you please clarify if my understanding is correct? Regarding Task 2 (Leading a Team) - Question 3(41:24), looks like a team conflict, so how its categories. Correct me If my understanding is wrong. Regarding Task 8 ( Negotiate Project Agreements) - Question 3(4:11) : The word negotiate in the in the choice 3 has confused me, with team will Plan the possible way and not negotiate with them rite, kindly correct me If I am wrong.
@edzestКүн бұрын
Hi, For task 1, since we don’t have enough information in the question to suggest we can go with one of the opinions, compromise is better. Opinions from both Team and Sponsor must be treated equally. For Task 2: I didn’t understand the categories part, sorry, For task 8: Negotiation means discussion for understanding both the side of expectations and deciding a win:win situation. Hence, it’s possible to do that.
