It is an EPIC fall color trail! The picture on my channel is from there. The whole Fourmile Area is stunning, and Marshall Pass to the south or Weston Pass to the north are fantastic for colors too.

hey mate. did it have the desired effect (reduced squeaking?). what are your thoughts on removing the sway bar altogether? i imagine it improves rear flex, while introducing more sway and on road instability, but i've never tried it myself.
@ColoradoOverland12 күн бұрын
It did work as expected and I have the rear sway bar connected on both our Xterra and our trail Jeep. On the Jeep the rear bar is so small that disconnecting it (I tried unbolting it / bungee cording it up for a trail run) it doesn't have much if any effect offroad but helps out quite a bit on road, I really felt the sway above 15mph or so with the front connected and rear bungeed up. I have not tried the Xterra without it.

This really helped except where to place the leads on the alternator. Trying to fix my grandchild's car so she can move to Colorado! patsy
@ColoradoOverlandАй бұрын
You do not change where the leads are, just leave them on the battery, R+ / B-. The current flows through the leads and battery, that flow is what you are reading when you check the alternator. It's reading the output of the alternator which is how the battery is charged and how your car makes spark when it's running. I really HTH! Best of luck with the car and she's going to LOVE Colorado!!

sounds like your battery is losing Cold Craking Amps, it's one of the ways batteries age. Have you tried using a pulse repair charger? You can search that on amazon, they are not expensive and can sometimes repair CCA issues. Good luck, hope you don't have to replace it!

The route you describe isn't clear. The road following Cebolla Creeek begins in Powderhorn and ends at Route 149. It doesn't go over Los Pinos Pass. If you 're starting at Los Pinos Pass you're driving along some other creek. Video appears to end at Rt. 149 not Cebolla Creek.

Is this road passable with a 25ft. RV?
@ColoradoOverland3 ай бұрын
I would not try it, the biggest issue I can see is that there are some turns that would be difficult if not impossible for something that long. It's also sandy and if there has been any rain you could really get bogged down. The road has a series of switchbacks at either end and that I think would shut you down before you really got started anyway, and it's so remote you might have to wait a day for a tow truck. An expensive tow truck...
