2 tips for those doing this. 1. There’s a curved plastic piece that needs removed inside hood at lamp assembly when he struggles pulling the bumper off. 2. Watch whole video first, there are two screws initially told to remove that hold alignment piece in bumper that shouldn’t be. Whole process took about 2 hours. Not too bad for saving $1000

I currently have a problem where the top of the window clips the blowout tab. I'm thinking tilting the window in should fix that problem as it is just contacting the upper seal. I want to stress, while making any of these adjustments, first close the door till the latch just catches the striker (door will be partially open by 3/8" to 1/2" or so at this point), then lightly push against door with your body (watch belt buckles rivets on jeans etc!) and ensure that the rear edge of the window does not hit chrome molding (not on all car, usually on cars with rain gutters), also check it at A pillar. These windows have quite a bit of adjustability and they can be moved enough to hit metal parts of the car which can ruin your window and your day. Take your time. I recently replaced all the glass in my 72 Z28 and (not a promotion) Auto City Glass makes a very nice quality product, packaging of the glass was outstanding, I did remove each piece and check condition before delivery driver left, took about 15 minutes. Everything fit nicely. I did have front and back installed by Arrow Auto Glass (offices in most states on eastern seaboard of US) with urethane (as it should be no mastic tape that is not how factory did it-they used a Thiokol product in the 60's and 70's). Well worth the money (like $100-$125 each piece of glass) for the install.
