Easily my favourite body style. Cheers. I miss the sound of my old 85'. Had the 460, pre bonus smog crap. It would start no sweat at -20. A few ti.es I had to coax it at -35, with no plug in. Bit harder, never failed though. Cheers from Alaska.

LOVE IT! That is perfect just the way it is. If I had funds Id bug you to sell it to me. I was a real young kid in the 70s seeing the buggy trend right before Cal Bugs got popular OP...what do you think yours or similar would be selling for? Want an air cooled car for my retirment daily driver.

Looks like your Scout came with factory Dana Cruise, that speedo jumping is likely the input or put cable parts on the cruise box. What engine does she have? We got a new Scout every year from 71-79.
