Tricky opponent, but those can show where your mistakes are to fix them. Approaching and teching aggressively all the time gets blown up by big buttons.

I was a bit sloppy here, but I'm always happy to spar and help you learn. After Arizona's knockdown, shjC can be a true meaty that will catch any button that doesn't have armor or invulnerability, but if I delay it, mess up the input, or try to side switch with A Headbuck you can jab me out of it. But I don't think 2B beats any Arizona oki options on wakeup. You can also jab an Arizona spamming shjC, but 2B will just lose to it. Also look out for people jabbing as you land after blocking your JC.

Fun to see you and Bea in a video. If the Shanty Tian MU is anything like Ari Tian, I think you shoild try to pressure Tianhuo aggressively and not give her space to engage with air dashes. Cutlass B and C are risky, but they reach very high in the air and can catch Tianhuo doing fly shenanigans. Tianhuo hovering over is a bad situation for most characters, but chicken blocking and just running in one direction can be good answers. The worst thing you can do is sit in place trying to wiggle to block the crossup. Hitting Tianhuo out of fake fly pressure is also important later.

I saw some good discipline blocking here, including blocking overheads. As painful as it is, sometimes you just have to jump block into traps and look out for teleport mixups. Shanty can't afford to let Oleander read at the other side of the screen, partially due to having no good answers to Epilogue. You might ask good goats how to handle the MU, but pushblocking and punishing whiffs is probably part of it.

Loved the Yarr! counter to Harpoon, and taking some matches was nice. I don't want to be repetitive, but try to resist the habit of committing to jump ins or Bulkhead when going in from neutral. Try to list several neutral options for getting in, including reacting to or calling out what your opponent tries: then you'll have clear things to practice and reconsider if they don't work. Same for oki and blockstring options.

Tough opponent and tough matchup, but improving your defense and pushblocking and applying more pressure when you get in would help.
