This playthrough was such a good time - loved all the wtf moments, the puzzling, the laughs and the screams (particularly the new PsycheWilhelm)! It's definitely one that keeps you thinking for a while

To me this is such a perfect game! Knows exactly what it wants and executes it flawlessly, timeless graphics and art design, subtle player and puzzle navigation without using a single word, bleeds atmosphere and mystery, and it leaves you thinking what the hell it was even supposed to mean. I loved your reactions to all the surprising moments, especially the _big_ one. Thanks for the playthrough! <3

Cane Whip gang ftw. Chip damage, sure, but that distance and range is amazing. Also teaches you to actually use the throwable items. And for the Father fight? OP. Blunder parry + high skill riposte brought him down in two hits after transofrmation. Two. Hits. I almost felt cheated.

That's really something to find all 3 secrets to hidden archives. But that's also a shame to not go on the look for the unburnt reels, it's missing quite a bit of content this way. I seriously hope this did not happen from chat inputs/suggestions... even ones you'd havent read out loud.

59:55 Yes you can. Jetpacking across planets is one of the coolest thing to do in the game but takes a bit of understanding of orbital mechanics and skill in the transfert. 1. Obtain escape velocity by flying & accelerating around the planet and boosting up one last time at the right moment. 2. Make slight adjustment in deep space to pass by grazing the sun corona 3. Once reaching the target planet get as tangent as possible to enter its atmosphere and use the drag to slow you down. Alternatively: Fail to avoid trees on the planet surface before ascending enough. Fall into the sun Get lost on the outer edge of the solar system and run out of fuel and oxygen Dive into hollow's lantern magma. Come in too hot and leave a small crater on the planet you were supposed to land on. Get grabbed by Giant's deep enormous gravity well and fall to this eternal trap. Intercepted by the interloper. One of the twin places itself in front of the other at the last moment and smacks you. And many other very joyful things 🤣

Thank you for watching! Couple of quick things! First of all, there are sound alerts in the beginning of the stream. They were funny, but I decided they were disruptive to the atmosphere of the game so they do get muted pretty early on (basically right after the sequence in Neely's Bar where I laughed at the goofy music) and they will be muted going forward! And secondly, DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME when I'm trying to do the safe. 😂 I swear I have trauma when it comes to video game safes and I always do them wrong! But I got there in the end!

I am from the future and your guide is very helpful. I have not played for about 3K plus plus days and my house got demolished. So many things new now and I had a hard time getting my Chocobo back. I hope you make a guide on that. I also like the new dungeon mission with the story NPC since I almost quit again after running a low level dungeon with Randoms and I have totally no idea what to click or what to do. I absolutely forgot how to play or how to use my skills. Good thing the NPC dungeon helps me familiarize with my skills again. ALSO WHAT THE HECK DID THEY DO TO SUMMONERS? I came back because there is no game out there that is close to a FF14 SUMMONER the before the samurai expansion. I AM SO MAD! GRRRRR

What's unfortunate is that in order to save the prisoner, you have to die in the real world. So there's no way to save him, and also end the loop. At the end, he assumes you died to reach him, so that final "sail off into the sunset" is actually kind of morbid. You can see towards the end, his footprints lead from the vision torch into the water. He ended his simulation by extinguishing the torch, which is essentially suicide, and he was inviting you to come with him because he think's your dead in the real world. His real body has been dead for a long time, so in going into the water, he finally reached his story's end, and if you look back at the vision torch, there was another planet where the Dark Bramble was so he has been a prisoner for a LONG time.

It helps to remember this: Bill & Frank lived like kings, with a quality of life far greater than just about anyone else in the world, and did so for longer than most people in that world get to live. And when they finally died, they did so completely on their own terms. Compared to them, it's everyone else's lives who are tragic.
