If you want to fill your gas tank but don't want to leave your doors unlocked, just lock your doors as you're getting out of the car, and you'll have 60 seconds to get to your fuel door before it locks. You can go to settings and change that to 90 seconds if you want. (2025 Mazda CX-30)

Just a note, most cars let you into accessory from off if you press the starter button _without pressing the brake pedal._ I've done this on both Stellantis and Toyota, so I'm assuming Mazda's probably similar as well.

Thanks for these tips. Just got a cx 5 and had a migraine looking at the 650 plus page manual, written in microscopically small print! I think I will never fully understand it.. I've been driving an 89 ford.... since 1989. This car looks like the space shuttle would be easier to fly. I just want to know how to turn off the radio so it doesn't always activate when I start the car, not just mute or set vol to 0. But mostly I've spent 2 days trying to figure out how to simply get to the radio screen and manually find stations as all the presents are stations that made me tear out my old radio!

That was fun. I just got back from my car in an attempt to try some of these features. I allredy knew about the window roll down one after hitting the button 4 times whilst holding it on the fourth. I was not aware of the way that you can leave the radio on when you shut the engine. That was fun. Unfortunately the 2024 Mazda three hatch select sport model does not offer after tilting of the rear-view when you back up. Oh well. I can look just the same when I back up.

Despite the assertion on the still title screen “All 2019-2024 Mazdas”, my 2021 CX-5 Grand Touring has NONE of these functions. I think you ought to be specific to the model you have and any models you have actually verified these functions on. One more thing: the ONLY thing that is true on my car is the power save function on my fob -that worked. But NOW it won’t allow me to use the door unlock buttons. My other key fob works fine on the buttons, so I believe turning on this power save on a fob disables the proximity detection, disabling the door lock buttons. And I can’t seem to turn that back on. Hopefully removing and replacing the battery will do it. Thanks a lot dude. Stop giving bad advice.

Great video. Unfortunately the Reverse Mirror Tilt doesn't seem to work in the 2025 CX5 Turbo Premium which is bizarre. It's one trim level below the Signature trim. Surely they would have included that function or is it only available in the top trim? Weird unless I'm doing something wrong.

My wife wants to know how to remote start the car using the key fob. Right now it seems the only way to do it is with a paid subscription to Mazda connect and a smartphone. My daughter is 2012 Mazda could be started with the key fob.

This is truly the best way, seems extreme but if you really want perfect glass follow this. Use new towels each step. 3 or 4 times a year like this is good, just ths glass cleaner in between deep cleanings is good

Power save fob doesn't start the car unless you put the fob on start button

The 2021 US version of the Mazda 3 doesn't have the option to roll the windows down with your first tip. Trying to do that disabled my remote and the car was saying no key to even start the car.

Guys, the touchscreen is only applicable to certain models of the 3. I think JUST the turbo models. I have a Premium 2021 HB AWD and I do not get the same display menu.

Does the reserve mirror exists on the 2024 Cx5-5. I’m having issues setting it. Did it work for anyone else?
