WHY DOES EVERYONE SHOW A 180 FUNCTIONING AS A 360 all over KZbin. I want to see a 180 not a 360 for functional purposes as in when I want to do a 180 not a 360. Yes I get it your doing a 180 but then your riding into it or out of it BACKWARDS (the revert is what everyone is calling it). I want a demonstration of a functioning 180 not a 180 acting like a 360 . Sorry for being a bit bratty on the topic but I’m not that proficient at riding backwards (yes I know I should be) but that shouldn’t preclude me from doing a 180 and actually turning my entire float party in another direction because a dog or an intersection or a ditch . What’s up with the flex from EVERYONE, not just you , that I’m a GREAT RIDER and I’m gonna show everyone a 180 but because I’m so good , I’ll just ride backwards and not show the body technique and hip positioning and weight distribution of an actual working, functional, 180 degree turn in all her glory :) ?

hold up...if fang dragging causes a motor cut out and the board still stopped dead in it's tracks... then doesn't that mean if you nose dive your still just going to stop suddenly and the fangs wont really help in continuing to roll to ride it out like people are expecting.

Random thought, but I love how for some people, putting a onewheel in their shopping cart is literally putting their main mode of transportation in a shopping cart. Try and do that with a honda civic. Lol.

I tried to bonk on some decent sized pebbles, the first one was good, the second rock I tried was pretty big and it rolled under me after I got air and landed on it and the board flopped sideways… was super fun lol

prices have gone up a bit. im considering the "bar of soap". have you tried those yet? seems like it would tip over since its got a smaller base than the bump. but hard to justify paying 40$. (after shipping) when i can just carry this big 2x4 around with me haha. jk

So I thought the whole point of the Gangs was to let you ride out nosedives, or motor cut out like shown in this video. When the motor cuts out, does it lock up the main wheel? I thought it would behave as if the board was off and the wheel free to move freely.
@FloridaFloatBrothers
@FloridaFloatBrothers 2 жыл бұрын
When the motor cuts out it does free spin (like when it’s off). Unfortunately for Mark, in that part of the video he was going uphill on a bumpy/rough part of the asphalt so when the motor cut off the board slowed down more than it normally would on a flat smooth surface. On top of that, when one purposely does a fang drag, they lean further over the wheel than you normally would. Unlike fang drags, when you accidentally nosedive you have an extra split second to shift your center of gravity back to balance and ride out on the fangs. They are completely “nosedive- proof” but they definitely can help and have helped us in the past.
